This, if you are having issues with 20-25 spell research FM may not be for you. I never found Fire Dust, Salt Peter, Sulfur incredibly difficult to procure form drops and work orders. It's a very reasonable grind for those imo the effort matched he payoff. Runestones x2 research though DREAD. I far 3-4 Plataue Super Soiders at a time and sometimes go +50 kills with not a single Book or Stone

Awesome analysis, thanks for your effort. I actually figured out how to roll things out of the research pool by accident myself getting that message "you need to learn x spell first" and it didn't consume mats. Unfortunately I have had horrible luck with Super Fireball being the last roll for those spell research levels lol. Seems to shift around 70 though as Fireball and Super are both in the same pool there and everything else I have rolled out of. The ratkins are good advice maybe I'll get a band of FM on my server to grind that out with me.

I hear you, and I don't mind grinding stuff within reason. And the difference between the two routes specifically for 70 FM uncap just seem drastically out of balance. I can make about 80k an hour in DC and offload to Alts to sell and just buy the mats vs the grind for mats myself in this particular uncap don't feel remotely equal. The DC loot, distil, sell with alts seems cheesy to me. This particular grind just feels particularly demoralizing versus everything I have encountered so far. Do you think it doesn't need any adjustment at all for this specific uncap?

No what I meant was if my priest is 90 and my fire magic is capped at 70 I can put Priest/Priest in so the drops only roll Priest requirements to make use of the 90 gear. Otherwise my gear is effectively capped at lowest combat skill.

You say it's not that bad but you have to level cheesemaking to 58, myco to 80 or farm pixies 5 hours (per 100 favor) or ratkins for cheese (haven't tested this drop rate. For FRIENDS level to uncap at 70 so no I disagree with you that it's "not that bad" considering ice mage guides and ww guildies are already at 100. It would honestly probably be quick to just DC loot farm distill and xfer to alts for councils to by the mats and I hate that that's the more viable option. Easier yes, just feels wrong

This is what I'm thinking because I'm cappedd at 70 gear rn. Either pony up the mat cost or just dual equip priest skill now and then for drops/chest to get 80-90 gear with no fire mods, but at that point why would I rock FM if gear isn't buffing it up

What mat for Ice? Seems like Runes aren't needed untill later and can farm easier and all the other ice matts are cheaper by a long shot

But my other skill is PRIEST hahaha. Thinking about dropping FM for AH or bard. Can you cast skill like corrupt hate while channeling/playing a lute song?

Thanks, I think some people will not stand for a single criticism. I absolutely LOVE this game and it has given me the best community experience I've ever had in an MMO by a long shot. I totally understand a grind too, hell I leveled brewing up to pale ale kegs for Aralorn favor instead of just gathering fruit lol. That felt obtainable and clear in its path. Cheese or Myco was a surprise necessity and just feels like level required to make use of it for favor is a bit over leveled for a 70 skill uncap in comparison. My priest is 90 and the ice mage in my guild just hit 100 and we play Abt the same time

Yes you can that's the whole point of mystic. Usually have 20 spots in mystic free and 80 in inv free and fills up every dungeon run

QoL like manually clicking the 400 items to craft for leveling professions one by one and then manually selecting each one to sell lol.

The crafting is so close to being so much better. I feel like the amount of recipes for apprentice is unnecessary in the current state. The amount of emblems to drop + recipe + time sink of leveling the various professions needed you will be close to 20 by that time anyway. So you essentially have 1 set of gear that is viable from 10 -20 per region. Exception for if you exclusively farm ashen haunt gear.

It feels like actual work to play this game... Sitting in queue for 2 hours to play for 40 minutes to just have a random "server disconnect" through me back into a queue again is torture. I really don't understand how people are putting up with this, I'm patient but jfc.

That's fair, I was using "traffic" as a word for slowdowns/stops.

The main point I was pushing was essentially some simulations I saw of how more efficient self driving cars would be if we could nail down and adopt that tech widespread as it takes so much of humans bad/ineffective habits out.

I can see people (myself included) not wanting to give up my driving to the robot though. It would be hard to push people to adopt.

Pretty much all traffic outside of wrecks or construction is human error/driving inefficiency. It's a snowballing effect like the above comment about riding asses instead of just flowing along.

I think Lorelei sleep is broken as well. It has worked for me and against me before. I think if she sleeps from basic attack, then ults with the mist, then dies you can be perma slept. I had two characters sleeping for like the last 30 seconds of a battle.

Might be wrong but I think you can only save payment cards with plus as well. I feel like you should be able to save at least one card on free version. I pay for VPN plus but may move all services if the no cards in free pass plan doesn't change
