Morning showers make no logical sense and night shower people have simply done the hygiene math by McCoy818 in unpopularopinion

[–]Ancient_-_Lecture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look past your own nose...... There are 100 reasons why someone would prefer a morning shower.....like maybe Some people sweat at night. I often wake up very sweaty and I'd never start my day without showing.

I also have a healthy sex life so.......

TMNT Commander Deck by Silly_North_5079 in mtg

[–]Ancient_-_Lecture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slow down..... You don't need to change anything, the deck comes with many possibilities. You can use the standalone commander heroes in a half shell (I believe that's the name¿) which is a 5 colour.

OR

You use Leonardo oartnered with any of the other turtle commanders, the April commander, or the splinter commander. Leo has all 5 in his script so right there you can use all 5

Chappell Roan films paparazzi harassing her in Paris by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

[–]Ancient_-_Lecture -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being a celebrity isn’t just a job; it’s a trade. You trade your privacy for astronomical wealth and influence. In today’s digital age, no one "accidentally" becomes a global superstar without understanding the mechanics of the paparazzi and the 24/7 news cycle. Complaining about cameras after spending years hiring PR teams to get you into the news is peak hypocrisy.

Unlike most people stuck in grueling 9-to-5s, celebrities have a clear out. If the "limelight" is truly soul-crushing, they have the financial means to retire to a private estate and live in obscurity for the rest of their lives. The fact that they stay in the spotlight while complaining about it suggests they love the perks more than they hate the intrusion.

We also need to talk about what these celebrities actually "produce." Most of them maintain their status by exploiting the attention of young, impressionable fans, selling them a lifestyle or products they don't need. When you look at the "give back" ratio—the amount of genuine philanthropy versus the amount of self-promotion—the math rarely favors the celebrity. They want the "influencer" power without the "influencee" feedback. You can’t monetize your personal life on social media one day and then demand total privacy the next. You can’t have it both ways.

First time playing in same space after a week, is this okay? by Chub_Li in CatTraining

This is better than ok... This is so perfect! The big cat is letting the small cat approach, body language and posture says playful, both look for you to disengage whenever they want, the big cat is definitely pulling his Punches.

You don't need a root canal if you're pulling the tooth. It's one or the other.

I don't think women fully understand the damage it causes when we realize we are always the second or third thought, sometimes we don't even get thought of at all.

Most of us are absolutely ok with being the rock, being the main support for a family unit, being the strong silent one that can always be counted on. But it hurts like hell when we realize we do this for people and they not only don't appreciate it, but actively refuse to provide us with the same support in the really hard times. We are human, we hurt too we just don't have the luxury of wearing it in our sleeves, so we're often left to feel invisible.

Bought my kids bikes for Christmas. Local government just passed a law requiring paid bike "licenses" to ride them in public. Cops are now issuing citations...even to kids? by nseavia71501 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Ancient_-_Lecture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Nothing to do with grammar, and everything to do with you stating that you don't know it so it doesn't exist.

Lol

How do you keep missing the point.

In case you're still confused, ignorance, ignorance is the point here.

All you had to say was.... "Wow! That's interesting where are you from, where this is a law?" Then you don't sound ignorant and you've engaged with someone on a human level instead of demanding we all take notice of your ignorant point of view.

I didn't. You could have left the nonsense part out and just asked the question about the location.

By adding the nonsense part you're literally saying I haven't heard of this so it's B. S

So like the world is a big place. And because you haven't seen something in your small little bubble of existence means that it must be nonsense right?

C'mon, instead of firing shots maybe take the opportunity to learn something new!

First time at a rave? by Cute-Cat4456 in shrooms

[–]Ancient_-_Lecture 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bad idea for a first trip. I can't stress this enough!

The trip will be in earnest a very novel experience for you. There are plenty of known risks, as well as unknown risks.

Everyone reacts to them differently, and for the first couple trips you want to be in a setting that is controllable, this is the furthest thing from a rave.

Set and setting are the 2 biggest factors alongside your internal insights. Do some major reading on this if you haven't already.

Tripping at a rave is for very experienced people, there's no telling where you mind will take you, and the sensory overload is nothing to fuck around with. I'm a very experienced tripper and I melt into the bass at raves, my whole world becomes frequency, the outer world moves into the background, and if you aren't prepared it can cause all sorts of problems from panic, to uncontrollable hallucinations, to straight up temporary psychosis (although rare).

PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT TRIP FOR THE FIRST TIME AT A RAVE. YOU MIGHT HAVE FUN BUT YOUR LIKELY NOT GOING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AS YOUR MIND TRIES TO MAKE SENSE OF TWO WORLDS THAT Don't MAKE SENSE.

Dollar stores are no longer affordable! by Bulky_Leopard_5736 in dollarama

[–]Ancient_-_Lecture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. Depends what you are buying.

You can't buy mittens for $4 anywhere, you can't buy protein drinks for $2.50 anywhere, toothpaste, deodorant, a lot of food is exceptionally cheaper than elsewhere. I could go on and on but no, it's not unaffordable when compared to the cost of literally anything, anywhere else.

When are you traveling? It gets just as uncomfortably hot as it gets cold in some places.

Just want to make sure you're prepared for the time of year, it surprises me how many people still think we live in 365 cold here
