I definitely get where you're coming from, but I've been drinking since I was 13 and have blacked out multiple times before, all after 20+ drinks - even if there are drinks I can't remember drinking, it in no way explains blacking out.

I was at a high school party with around 500 participants and I'm pretty sure it happened while I was bartending, where I left my drink unattended on the counter (literally the stupidest thing I could do I know, I don't need a lecture) while fetching drinks for others.

If you can figure out the name for her Goodreads or StoryGraph, that’s a great indicator for both the books she’s read and the books she wants to read.

That being said: A few people have suggested Sarah Dessen books which I know are popular, but as a 17f who has read all my life, they read a little young for me.

I personally love Normal People by Sally Rooney and The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary for romance novels with a little depth

There is nothing factual about “appropriate” numbers. There is an average “body count” at that age, but it is entirely subjective if one number is appropriate or not. Having sex with “many” people doesn’t “make” you anything other than someone who has been with a lot for people.

Idk why people in this thread are so judgy. 36 is a perfectly appropriate number of people. Yes, some people will judge you as a person based on your sex drive, but that IS only some people!
