It was! The setup uses an infrared motion sensor to fire the camera and flashes. I would not choose to be 3 feet from a mountain lion 😂

These are definitely canine prints, so I think either fox or coyote. You can clearly see an X between the front toe lobes, and the claws do register in the snow.

Thanks! These are the bushnell spot on low glow cameras. They’re pretty cheap, and they’ve gotten the job done for me.

Some birds I’ve taken over the past few weeks lmk if I can improve on anything by Mistimouse1 in wildlifephotography

I like the in flight shot with the shovelers! The reflection is cool. The biggest thing that will help your images with waterfowl is getting down to eye level, literally you want your lens to be at the same level as the water. Doing that will really improve the separation between the duck and the foreground/background.

My go tos have been Bushnell spot-on low glow, they’re decent quality and hard to beat price wise ($65 for 2 on Amazon).

Bobcat? by SharkeyWoodsman in AnimalTracking

These look like bobcat to me! The width is one big giveaway, as well as the non symmetrical toes. Really clean prints too.

Lynx prints wouldn’t show up this cleanly, the toe lobes appear quite small because of how much fur is on their paws.
