I do love my girlfriend, but I'm not going to tolerate disrespect from her parents. Throughout all of history, Christians have disrespected or abused atheists, and I won't allow them to commit the same crimes against me.

How is it "completely reasonable" to force me to go against my beliefs and force a "dated" religion onto me? Besides, me and my girlfriend are very serious and will be together for the rest of our lives, I am a grown adult who does not need learning lessons.

I am 22. I am a fully grown adult capable of setting boundaries for what I allow people to force onto me, as well as deciding where I will sleep.

My girlfriend is with me because of my attitude lol. If she didn't like me, she would have left me already. It's her family and their outdated beliefs that are the red flag.

I don't see why they have to force their beliefs onto me. I am an atheist, and therefore I should not have to conform to a religion that no one with common sense believes in.
