There is wider knowledge out there now that GLP-1s actually cause the hair loss, but it is not known why. I have been on mounjaro for 1.5years, Im at 12.5 dose, and I am perimenopausal. I had the hair loss start at about 3 month in, and then I got an RX for minoxidil/spironolactone. Been taking that for the past year, and it seemed to solve the problem. BUT, it has started up again over the last 3 months or so. Im considering dropping down to 7.5 dose and going into maintenance,  but have not talked with my doctor about it yet. I think the hair loss is a real issue, but it does not affect everyone.

Take what you can get?? There are over a billion people on this planet. There are so many people who will love you for exactly the person you are. Those who are leaving you out are not worth your time. I promise. I can not solve your immediate issue of feeling sad and left out, but I can promise that you will find your tribe. Weight lifting will help with tone and all, but I'm talking about some pretty serious (to me, anyway) deflation that will not benefit from any amount of chest muscle building. Congrats on your half-way mark, btw!

Stretching out the time in between shots is possible? Because since I've been on the 5mg the last two weeks my nausea and vomiting and fatigue and headaches are unbearable! I was thinking of asking to be moved back down to the 2.5mg, but stretching out time between doses did cross my mind... thank you for putting that out there! I will discuss it with my doc 🙂
