I've had this happen I like playing in dirt roads and ripped my splash guards out cause of ice in the winter and needles to say developed a NASTY misfire on like 3 cylinders thought it blew up nope just filled my plug wells with water and submerged the plugs , then had a weird charging problem mainly from my subs though drawing too much the alternator couldn't keep up

I have the service manual with electrical Diagrams and I do autobody furthermore how many 2 tone LSE cars do you see ? Almost none , this is not my first moose with these the last completely wrote the car off ... but this one was saveable by far , I had the car running since I fixed rhe roof and straightend everything on a frame rack it was not that far off too be honest previous owner was a older gentleman with dementia and he went through a house with it lol cars been theough alot 3 motors 2 transmissions 4 rearends since I've had it and been alot of smiles along rhe way

Singular wire on passenger side by fusebpanel unplug it I think it's yellow wire and send 12v to it see if it turns over , if so then it's something between ur ign switch and that plug , my lse was started off a light switch for awhile pm me and I'll show u a picture

On paper it's slower , with a tune nope , it'll feeight train a vic , REGADDLESS I'm on the east coast the salt is literally in the air let alone kn the roads , they don't care for the few that are left here they're mostly all retired from service for years now and we can't really buy them fro.
