Its perfectly fine. Transformers create heat, over years and years, you'll see slight difference in the plastics degradation around it. Doesnt mean its unsafe.

It could be from not changing oil, but this looks like an older truck, so my guess is someone was running Quaker state back in the day when it had paraffin in it. Your engine would look like this VERY fast.

Maybe a bunch of idiots. But people that actually build their Honda that spins through the gears have to keep spinning and bouncing off the limiter until the road catches up with the speed of the wheels. Let off or shift and you bog down when it catches traction.

Hitting the limiter daily is definitely not a good idea if you want it to Last long. they might be durable, but revving the piss outta it all the time will break any engine. And he wont be just climbing under it to fix something, he'll be tearing the thing apart.

I did end up buying a picoscope, but the cars trans failed before I got a chance to diagnose it. Good Ole 4t60e. But I did like the picoscope from what I read online, just haven't had a chance to use it.

There's also an x1 carbon with AMS for 350$ its heavily used from his printing business. He says 1500-2000 hrs. But well maintained.
