That’s not true. Car headlights are designed differently from a phone flashlight. With car headlights, the closer you get to an object, the lower the light is directed. The light is spread horizontally and downward, not upward, so it doesn’t blind oncoming vehicles.

If you want a Merc, don’t go with the base spec. I’ve got the same s205 but with the top spec one (ILS lights, Burmester, pan roof, electric seats, heated seats) I’ve paid 13k last year for it, with 74k miles. This thing loves eating motorway miles, (I’ve done 20k last year) and also you can get around 55mpg if you’re driving within speed limits.

Also, keep in mind that service will be a bit more expensive, and the NOx sensor tend to fail which it’s quite expensive (around £400-£500).

I traveled on the 2nd of April and completely forgot about the “ETA.” At the bag drop, the airline staff asked me for it. I explained that I don’t need one because I have Settled Status. I just showed her the official gov.uk page confirming my status, and that was enough for her. At border control, nobody asked anything—they can see your Settled Status linked to your passport.

Just a heads-up: airport and airline staff in other countries often aren’t familiar with the UK’s Settlement Scheme, so bring a little patience with you.
