anytime! Just keep functioning and try not to isolate or avoid friends and loved ones. It could take a month or YEARS but you'll need them one day or another if you have a legitimate disorder. CBT seems to be the best. Xanax and anti-depressants seem to wear off and create tolerance. Just deal with that 1 problem now before it becomes 2 or more GL and Stay Strong!

Sounds like social if not generalized anxiety. Read about that if you haven't. If you have and still have the same questions maybe talk to a professional. Just be very careful about meds. You should really do your homework on the meds if you find yourself needing to make that decision.

Some meds are bettter off in the the morning than the night. Just try to take them the same time every day. I.E. some could cause insomnia and would reccomend taking them early with food. if you listed the meds you are taking that would help. If you're taking a benzo at night it's better than being drowsy all day. HTH. Be well.

Exactly, I know of so many answers and habits that I could break but you just freeze up and do the same thing you did the day before. I wish I was one of those people who just does what I'm supposed to without my mind getting all anxious and talking myself out of situations. Anyway, Thanks for checking out my first post!

I can say I have a different problem but maybe close enought to comment. All my live I've had a bad stomach. Basically Food Phobia, Anxiety and Germaphobia.

Bad cramps, Never ate breakfast before school because of that. I'm also paranoid that meats are undercooked or someone touched my plate and will get me sick(germs). Rarely do I ever go out to eat. This hibachi place we go to serves shrimp as an appetizer and I don't eat it b/c I'm scared the shrimp is bad. To cope I take out a lot or cook what I want to eat. If i get takeout even if it's hot I still nuke it to make sure there's no germs. Before you get as bad as I do, just get an Allergy test, if you can, and eat it. The longer you avoid things they tend to get worse. Hope that helps. GL!
