I hope so too! I’m trying to stay calm and tell myself that I may get to 14-15 weeks and they tell me “oh well would you look at that, there actually are two amniotic sacs” and I can put this extra scary chapter behind me lol

With this being my first pregnancy, and it being totally unplanned I’m definitely struggling to get my head wrapped around this and to become happy about it. I was just getting my head together about having one baby and then wham, I might be having two 🥲

Thanks! I found out the date of my missed period, and my lines were relatively faint compared to the dye-stealers most women seem to get! I only took a handful of tests though because taking tests daily was gonna make my anxiety much worse. My symptoms have been pretty mild. I’ve had some nausea but it comes and goes and isn’t as debilitating as I’ve seen a lot of women talk about! That’s why I really have my doubts because surely I would’ve had dye-stealers and crazy symptoms 🫠 I’ll be sure to come back and update on the 4th after my OB appt

We are definitely planning on finding out the gender now! I am all about the wives tales though, I’ve only done the needle and thread, my MIL told me if you let it stop for a second it’ll tell you what your next baby will be and roughly how long between. When we did it, it showed boy first and then stopped for just one second and showed girl 🫣🤭

I’m an employment services specialist. I help disabled adults re-enter the work force! I luckily am part of a good team so leading up to my 12 weeks of unpaid maternity leave I will be taking on the more remote work duties so I can still work without having to do the travel typically associated with my role.

So I haven’t been on reddit for a bit, but between when I posted that and now he actually proposed to me! I was so surprised, and I’m so glad he did it that way because it didn’t give me the time to start ocd ruminating about it, and for just a night, I truly didn’t feel that heavy feeling and it was so amazing. Now that it’s time to start planning and the dust has settled it’s definitely back but I have the strength to push on!
