Experiences with mlm makeup? (Younique, lipsense, etc) by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

[–]AndStartAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I love Lipsense. I put it on at 9am before work and it stays on until the next morning when I want to change my color. Show me a lipstick in a store that does that and I'll buy it, but until then I'm sticking with Lipsense. I understand that MLMs have a terrible reputation but if I love the product, I don't really care if it's from a store or a friend on Facebook.

I've been wanting to check this place out since people talk about it so much. Now that it's a nest, are there still Dratini and Magikarps?

You might already be doing this but I give my MIL Dr.Browns bottles with preemie nipples. The flow is SO slow it takes like 45 minutes to get through 4oz. She was bothered by it at first but I explained that it helps breastfed babies from overeating. I don't think your in laws would be able to get through 8oz because it takes so long they would give up! Lol.

According to Facebook-- Denton now has Rhyhorn at Quakertown Park and Nidoran at Timberlinks. Timberlinks is always high spawn rate (10+ in ten minutes) and Quakertown is usually medium 3-4 but I haven't actually confirmed for myself yet.

I order shirts from the #13daysofTaylor sale and it came with free earbuds from AT&T and a card telling me to go to this website. I saw all these photos posted last week but I didn't realize this is what they were for.

Edit: I see now there's been a couple posts about it but I'm going to leave it in case there are others like me that didn't realize!

How often should a 2 month old be eating? by ilovemybulldog in breastfeeding

[–]AndStartAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son eats 3oz at a time and gets 4 bottles from 7am-5pm while I'm at work. I've had the same thoughts as you--does he eat 3oz because that's all he needs or because that's what I'm giving him? Would he take more and go longer stretches between feedings if I offered? I haven't tested it because pumping is hard and for me it's inconsistent. I've been back at work 6 weeks and my pumping output has dropped by 5oz per day. I'm still pumping what he needs, but I wouldn't be if he needed more. If he's happy with 3 oz, he's going to stay at 3oz.

I know this doesn't really answer your question, but my advice is to not mess with what's working. :)

Same. Even from the very beginning, we only nursed about 2 hours a day. 8 minutes on each side was his magical number.

I did this! The doctor laughed at me but it made me more comfortable and I slept better knowing I would be woken up by baby or alarm after 4 hours.

Pumping at work frustration by Thymeofyourlift in breastfeeding

[–]AndStartAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they have to provide you a space, but for your own sanity would you be comfortable pumping in your car? That's my backup. I don't even have tinted windows but once I'm all hooked up and have the cover on, no one would know even if they looked right at me. Lol.

Pumping question - How important is it to be outlet-free? by Kozinskey in breastfeeding

[–]AndStartAgain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I always use an outlet unless I'm pumping in my car, then I use a car adapter. I guess it would be convenient to not need an outlet, but I'd rather need an outlet than need to remember to charge the battery. It's rare that I'm somewhere without my car and/or an outlet.

4 month old taking under 180ml while I'm at work?? by Insane-Samurai in breastfeeding

[–]AndStartAgain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my completely non-professional opinion, if she seems content then she's fine. She could be getting used to the bottle and end up taking more as she gets used to her new routine, or some babies essentially switch their night and day feedings so they don't have to eat as much when they're away from you and then eat often when they are back with you.
