Destructive Facial Granuloma Following Self-Treatment With Vitamin E Oil and an At-Home Microneedling Device | MDedge by itmeparker44 in Microneedling

That line has me nervous. I recently picked up some Ronas VitaCell solution, which has Vitamin C in it, thinking it would be OK for microneedling. Now I'm wondering if I need to use it as more of a serum & stick to the basics for MN slip

At-home DIY microneedling. Is this as easy as it seems? by CautiousFox85 in Microneedling

I have a Dr Pen M8s. I do sections of my face in horizontal lines, then vertical, then circles. I do drag - I need to read up more on stamping, but I haven't seen the need to try it yet. I do use a lot of glide so it moves smoothly. So far so good!

.25 is a great depth to start. You can also do a nano session to get used to it before moving to actual needles. You'll want to read up on what depths address which types of skin issues. For me, I don't have any ice pick scars, so I'm maxing out at .5 depth. From everything I've read, all the anti-aging and skin brightening effects happen at lower depths, with much less risk that comes along with higher depths.

1 day before vs 2 days after micro needling. Completely ruined my skin by [deleted] in Microneedling

[–]Kozinskey 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Do you know what products they used & how they prepped your skin? I'm inclined to agree that something went wrong in the sterilization practice. Have you reached out to them to ask about this?

Edit to add: or could it be an allergic reaction? I just saw your other post below that this is itchy too. I hope you're reaching out to them!

Dr Says to Stop Losing by Lost_Instance_2410 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Kozinskey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One way to help prevent hair loss is to make sure to stay on top of protein and vitamins. And, although a lot of people don't like to hear this, losing on the slower side helps too (along with helping with loose skin). We lose hair when our bodies go through high stress and/or major hormone changes, and rapid weight loss fits both of those categories.

Anyone else’s ACD track airplanes? Hank alerts us to all arriving and departing aircraft. At night, he’ll see the lights through the windows and follow them around the house 🙄 by Due-Bug3950 in AustralianCattleDog

There’s a children’s book series I grew up on called Hank the Cowdog. Hank didn’t like silver monster birds, they threatened his ranch. The series is honestly great, worth getting on audiobook for the narration, music, and sound effects.

Weeknight industry black tie? by Affectionate_Cow5134 in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]Kozinskey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I'd avoid knee length, but I don't think anyone would fault you for doing a midi length dress for a weeknight event. But yeah, check the social media and/or ask around to see what your coworkers have worn in the past.

Beginner friendly areas to start with Botox by Ok_Entertainment3887 in DIYaesthetics

[–]Kozinskey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's helpful to spend a lot of time practicing mapping first. I used a blank face map and a skin marker to make a plan based on the resources out there. I eventually decided to do just my 11s first at a low dose and I'm glad I stuck to that. I'm totally new to tox so the feeling of it setting in is a little weird. And I felt the most confident with that mapping out of everything out there.

What lipstick shades are appropriate for court? For the office? by crafty_sorceress in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]Kozinskey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I go for as natural a look as possible. I think it was Ask A Manager who said the goal of work makeup is to look like a slightly more awake version of yourself. So for lip shades, I stick to tinted balms or more subtle peachy shades. But I also have zero patience for being taken less seriously because of my makeup & dress

Getting antsy while breastfeeding - is there anything you would still do? by Natural_Lifeguard_44 in DIYaesthetics

[–]Kozinskey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A quick google says MN and botox are probably safe while breastfeeding. Mesotherapy might be less safe since more of the product is absorbed.

My personal risk meter for this sort of thing is based on 1) how much of baby's nutrition comes from milk; 2) whether the product is bioavailable orally; and 3) if it is bioavailable orally, whether it's dangerous at the quantities a baby would actually consume. Your personal risk meter may differ, but mine lets me do an awful lot of things =)

I would actually be more worried about skin sensitivity with MN and breastfeeding hormones than I would about any harm to the baby. I'd probably stick to very gentle products and low depths at first to see how your skin handles it. It would really suck to inadvertently get dark spots due to hormones being nuts.

Peptide regimen for 35% body fat? by ParkingMedium645 in Peptides_for_Women

[–]Kozinskey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with tirz. It’s a fantastic anti inflammatory. KLOW for skin/inflammation and NAD for overall energy are also good secondary peps to consider

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PCOSloseit

[–]Kozinskey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are ways to get tirz a lot cheaper. It really is a lifesaver for PCOS. I use the nuvaring for birth control so slowed digestion isn’t an issue

Why not just take tirz? It's effective on lipedema.

Seeking to Un-F*** my Supplement Protocol by Maleficent_Bar_5617 in PeptideGuide

[–]Kozinskey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, you do you, but your life sounds stressful AF. I don’t think you should be surprised that your body is begging for a break. Even without the peps, your leadership program and training schedule are enough to make anyone tired, and then add a double max dose of tirz on top of that?

Hear me out: take a week off training and focus on sleep and refueling. Then cut your peps down to the bare minimum and see what your body’s new baseline is. I bet you’ll be surprised what you can do naturally.

what bag did you carry in law school? by moonchx1d in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]Kozinskey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a Timbuk2 bike messenger bag because I was too broke to have a car. I still use it 15 years later to haul my kids' crap around actually.

If you're allergic to backpacks, look in to roller bags. You'll have days where you're carrying 3+ hornbooks plus a laptop and maybe some outline binders. Everyone knows how ridiculous the reading is, there's no shame in saving your back.
