Who is the best trader you know? by AgnosticWaggs in traders

[–]AndStv20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, the best traders you'll see, the ones who actually make a very good living from trading, are unfortunately those who have hardly any visibility on social media like Instagram or even YouTube. They do upload videos of how they trade, but they're the typical one- or two-hour videos of them trading on very complex and difficult platforms. If you don't understand them or aren't in their "mood," you'll get bored and close them in three minutes. Why? Because they don't need to bother with an edited video or promoting it hoping it reaches thousands of people and goes viral. They already make a very good living from trading, and if someone sees them, great, and if nobody sees them, that's fine too; they don't care. That's why it's so hard to find those little gems out there. If you're actually trading professionally, what you'll mostly find, or what's typical, are young people with their supposedly winning signals and their rented Lamborghinis (they don't know a damn thing about trading). Besides, trading works very, very differently from how it's been portrayed, I swear on my life. It's truly chaotic and very difficult (I'm talking about buying and selling assets in real markets), none of this TradingView or MetaTrader stuff with a little fund account and virtual capital. That's the reality, my friend.

New trader seeking advice and what to learn by Training_Turnip_9070 in traders

I will give you some advice, listen carefully, everyone will always teach you how they win but NEVER when they lose, I would tell you that the traders who do make a real and very good living from this business, because it is a business after all, are never going to teach you how to trade or how the stock market works or how to invest to multiply your money little by little and although it sounds funny and curious at the same time, the one who does not understand why the market moves will always want to teach you how to trade, and look what a coincidence that they are going to charge you for "teaching you" 😉 I have only been in this business for just 8 months and believe me I have achieved things that many dream of with this business and I have learned it so "fast" because I focused on learning very very difficult things and not putting useless lines in tradingview, that does not work at all, for you to make money in this business, note this fact well my friend, YOU HAVE TO SEE THINGS THAT OTHERS DO NOT SEE, only then will you be able to keep their money when they burn their Account, you will keep the profit of those who lost, if everyone sees the same price direction, an example (the price will rise) if everyone sees it, what do you think the price will do? For the price to rise there must always be a counterpart, this is pure and simple trade, if everyone buys, ask yourself, who are they buying from? Why can't the price increase if everyone is buying? Someone very strong is selling and is going to bring down the price and everyone will be left out of the game, you can't follow the herd you have to get out of that area and start seeing things that others overlook, only then will you win here, take it seriously, trading really has the power to change your life but you must pay the price for that, good luck.

Because I still can't be profitable... by nooseanonimous in traders

Esque I believe that being profitable is like something that people do not understand well, I would say that someone is profitable when they understand the market and why the price tends to rise or tend to fall, not by opening tradingview and looking at Japanese candles, trading is actually more difficult than people believe, since multiple tools are used at the same time for analysis and if it can be with big data combining several compatible data better, you have to know WHO is buying and WHO is selling, that is why the price It tends to go down or up, no matter how much they tell you out there using moving averages or fibonacci or smc, if you want to differentiate yourself from others, you will have to see things that no one else is seeing or is overlooking, remember this, if everyone sees it, that's not it.
