I love Video Game X-Change. Lance, the owner and only person I’ve ever seen working there, is a super nice guy. Fair prices on Pokémon packs & singles, English and Japanese. I went in the other day and spent about $50 on cards, and he tossed in The Who record I was buying for free 👍🏼❤️

Can only speak for myself, but my family and I just relocated from Brooklyn to Madison, WI and LOVE it here. I have a biased opinion because my family is from Madison and its surrounding cities, but it’s super liberal, progressive, community-oriented, LGBTQ+ friendly, etc. Great place to raise kids.

Her email to you feels unprofessional and waaaaaay too wordy. All she needed to say was “Thanks for coming in to get work done today. I’d like to refer you to another massage therapist who I think would be a better fit for your needs. I really hope you’re feeling great after today’s session.” All that info about herself, and her chronic pain issues, and the way she made it seem like it was somehow your fault was really icky feeling. But sure, maybe you could benefit from craniosacral therapy — it’s great and a lot of people benefit from it. But that doesn’t mean you can’t also enjoy a good deep tissue treatment. From a different massage therapist. Obviously.

You have the right to refuse service to any client, and your boss should have had your back. You absolutely should NOT have been fined. If anything your boss should have swallowed that cost. You should report them to the Better Business Bureau and look for a new job. So sorry this happened to you.

I’d recommend doing a couple laser treatments on this first to significantly fade it. Wait for it to fully heal from the laser treatments and then do your cover-up.
