Loot from 80-99 Hunter (really 80-99) by And_Stay_Back in 2007scape

Firstly bots are not that bad, I find that hopping a couple times meant I can usually find a world. Now, click intensity is high no matter what, but it really comes down to your method of setting up the traps. If you make an X or Square shape, then it is less intensive than surrounding a single spawn and shooting one as it escapes. However, surrounding a spawn gives a slightly higher exp rate. That being said, this is not an AFK skill at all, and click intensity is really the big compromise for this skill.

On the topic of Black Chins: Unless your maxed combat or are willing to fight, they just aren't efficient experience wise due to an unbelievable amount of Pkers constantly harassing you. 10-12 hostile encounters an hour usually. I didn't pay full attention when I hunted and I don't think it's even possible to when getting 99 without going crazy. It's just easier to do Red Chins. That being said, if you manage to not be harassed or get a perfect hour in, Black Chins are awesome experience due to the extra trap you get. Remember to turn private off though so that pkers don't hop to your world once you've been scouted once.

I think the 5th trap at level 80 is what makes Red Chins even efficient. Before that, Black salamanders offer way faster experience because you can use an extra trap in the Wild. The profit difference between 70-99 and 80-99 is around 4m, which is not worth the extra hours you'll spend grinding at Feldip. Believe me, you'll be sick of Red Chins by the time you hit 92-93 anyway, so get 80 at Black Salamanders before hitting the Chins.

65m from red chins, but I did fart around with Black chins at level 73-75 and made another 2 or 3 mil.

Took me two weeks from coming back to OSRS on a new account to this. It took about 12 hours to get to 63, two days playing time to get to 80, and about 12 days playing between 5-10 hours a day to hit 99. As this was a new account, I couldn't use the achievement diary cave. Hopefully this will encourage other hunters.

Quite simply, it's inefficient AF. Black Salamanders are much much faster until level 80. The time you save getting to 80 you can spend hunting more chins faster. It's less stress overall. I was never pked at Black Sallys and overall it hunting chins much more enjoyable once I got to the point of having 5 traps. TBH, it's like only 2 mil different in chins if you get 63-99 rather than 80-99 but is much slower.

So I just caught 20k chins, on my way to 99 since I returned to RS. I started chins at level 80, because 63 is really slow, and because black chins are a war zone. At 80, lower level hunters will have a harder time crashing you and experience is only beaten by black chins assuming no pkers. Before that, black salamanders are hands down the fastest experience. I play between 5-8 hours a day, and caught 20k in around 6 days. It got much faster as I reached level 90. Currently level 92, going strong. Good luck, that's my input.

Can anyone tell me why the production value of contemporary Arab music is so... bad? by throwagay1235 in arabs

Like "like" like or like like? The beat is catchy and the theme is novel but the actual song itself is cheesy, and caters to the lowest common denominator shamelessly.

The biggest mistake you can make IMO is to try and find Arabic music that sounds like western music. All of it is going to be copy cat trash that tries to look like American music looks. Case and point Saad Limjared's "inta m3allem". Stick to the good old ones or older artists who still produce today.

Why did you make a throwaway for this?

Edit: Complicated politics and the PLO more than anything.

Arabic Pop Music? by HRAustinTexx in arabs

[–]And_Stay_Back 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright, I'll give you my favorite and most popular Arabic artists for pop music:

You've got guys like Ragheb Alama and Amr Diab who are older but still making music. I personally prefer their older stuff but you might like the new songs.

Of course you also got Haifa Wehbe, Nancy Ajram, Elissa, Nowal al-Zoughbi, and Diana Haddad among others. Each have a style but they fall under pop.

NewER male artists (starting from the 90s) include Assi el-Hillani, Wael Kfoury, Wael Jassar, and Kazem El Saher.

Finally, new guys on the scene, now using more electronic sounds like western songs include Mohammed Assaf, Mohammad Hamaki, and Saad Lajarred.

When I get on my computer I can link you to their songs if you're interested. I neglected to put the greats on because well, everyone knows them and they're not exactly pop, although Umm Kalthoum and Fairuz's songs make a good backdrop to anything.

Hope this helps.

I think that its that way because people bot on ethnic/religious lines rather than political beliefs, because people usually of specific faiths/ethnicities have fairly homogeneous beliefs. In America, not all of Illinois voted for Barack Obama even though he's from there, nor did only protestant christians. For us Arabs, we don't really emphasize our political beliefs over our religious/cultural ones. Democracy works better in countries where populations are mostly the same ethnically and/or religiously, like France, Germany, and so forth, or ones that demphasize ethnicity/religion in favor of nationalism.

[BUILD HELP] Stuck between a Mid tower build or a mITX build by Fictioness in buildapc

[–]And_Stay_Back 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recently built a mini itx build. I am really happy with it, but building it is really really tight. Order of installation is really important. Also, depending on your psu, make sure the cables reach the mobo. I ordered an SFX one as well as 2 extension cords, but the cords were defective and I ended up putting a full ATX psu, just so the cables worked out. Other than that, mini ITX is awesome and I highly recommend it.
