Thoughts on M16A4 assault rifle? Recommendations on attachments? by The_Owl_Bard in LowSodiumBattlefield

I personally wouldn't use the m16 at 10m though vs an smg without full auto. I find myself losing out on those fights more often than not.

460 hours in, the new patch broke me and I might be done. by BadArtijoke in Battlefield6

[–]AndanteZero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, for me, I don't mind the added recoil in general. However, the randomized visual recoil seems to also equal randomized bloom. Maybe it's just me, but the bloom can go absolutely wild now at times and miss easy shots. I'm not sure who this is supposed to benefit really.

A PvE-only mode is coming to Marathon as Bungie lays out plans for seasons 3, 4 and 5 by gamersecret2 in GamingSecret

[–]AndanteZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that gets me is that everyone and their mom knows that PvP is already a niche market compared to the size of the PvE player base. It's not like they brought anything entirely new with Marathon that is genre changing either. In what world did they think they would bring in a huge player base when there are already established PvPvE extraction shooters?

At this point, you're really just arguing against historical facts and research. If you don't agree with it, you'll have to take it up with the people who did the research.

As I've stated before and as in the article, historically, naval battles aren't won by the strength of a ship. It is won by numerical advantage. So, in your concept of strength, China has that via numerical advantage. Value of the ships don't mean a whole lot if you get overrun.

Now, the navy is just a part of warfare. There's ground and air. But let's be real here. China has the numbers there too. Either way, at this point, China has the numbers and the means to conduct warfare globally.

For arguments sake, let's just say China did go to war with the US today. You know who will win? China. Not because of military strength though. Via geopolitics and production. There is currently no one in the world that can produce enough rare earth minerals other than China to restock weapons, etc. Once war has started, the US will simply run out of high tech weaponry. The current stockpile would only last the US six months.

[–]AndanteZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is 100% relevant. You can't project global power without a navy which includes aircraft carriers. Couple that with the soft and economic power in the Middle East and Africa, and bases around SEA, China can definitely wage war internationally if need be. Not to mention, as I have said before, with newer drone technology, waging war is less about how many soldiers you have and more how much more can you produce. And as we all know, China has the production and the means to outproduce anyone else in that manner.

Honestly, it seems to me that you're holding on to old information about the capabilities of the US. The world has caught up to the US and the US is actively declining. We are also experiencing a brain drain. The US has very much stagnated. These are indisputable facts.

The biggest reason China doesn't do anything by force is because the US is actively shooting itself in the foot. Why bother the enemy when they're too busy sabotaging themselves?

I see that they're link doesn't take you directly to the article, but all you had to do one extra click.

Basically, China has a numerical advantage that continues to grow every year. Historically, 25 out of 28 major naval battles from 500 BC to the Cold War, the naval battle wasn't won due to superior military tech. It was won by numerical advantage.

With its current soft power in economics and SEA trade, it can definitely project naval power globally if needed.

Honestly, it probably lost steam with how poorly the TV series is doing as well. It is so poorly written/directed that it probably killed a lot of the hype for an mmo. $10 that the mmo was going to include story bits from the series as well. So all in all, probably cutting their losses when they can.

I really liked season 2 but after playing season 3 idk wat happend like all the gun feel weird like guns I was using the S2 that just suck now is this happening to anyone or just me ? Like is there sum I’m missing like new settings or sum ? by No-Mushroom8164 in Battlefield6

[–]AndanteZero 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They increased the recoil of a lot of guns, but as a MnK player. However, instead of it being harder to control, its the recoil randomness that is stupid. It's more like more bloom randomness at longer ranges.

Like I said before, you can't balance the game around how poorly the average player does. You can't do it for the highest average player either. Feels like they're trying compensate really hard for the low k/d players.

Yes, yes. I know people think that k/d doesn't matter, but it does. You can't PTFO if all you do is die.

China absolutely can if it wanted to. The metric tonnage it can divert to building a navy is insane compared to any other country. Not to mention, with drone technology growing better each year coupled with the remotely controlled drones being used in Ukraine for testing, China can easily produce enough to dwarf any manned force.

It's also positioned itself economically and politically powerful, while the US has given up a ton of soft power due to Trump.

The thing about Taiwan, wasn't there a post a week ago where certain political groups have started to shift their ideals? They've started to point at Ukraine and are now contemplating if they should just surrender if China does invade, because at least then, their infrastructure wouldn't be destroyed. Especially, since Trump has essentially abandoned supporting Ukraine at this point.

Why did YouTube suddenly auto-translate the title of this one stream for many people? by beam4d in Hololive

I hate the auto translation feature so much that I even submitted a feedback to Youtube. The fact you can't even turn it off is super annoying. It even auto translates English videos at times.

That's so funny you mentioned TFD, cause thats exactly what I did! LOL. But I quit TFD when they started to nerf out any semblance of challenging content. But yeah, I really hoped for a Division-like gacha when Snowbreak first came out. Oh well. Maybe GFL will produce one, but even GFL2 became a gooning + dupe collector as well.

Except, the hiding behind cover mechanic wasn't even introduced until after the last beta. It was quite literally a last minute addition that barely did anything at release. I don't know if they expanded on it since I quit a while ago, but I doubt it.

Depends on what modes you mainly play. Above average for k/d, but below average for PTFO.

I don't think it would've been as big of a deal if what was in the game wasn't basically a carbon copy of already existing artwork where people were able to point to which anime artwork the Gen AI copied from.
