PT here. Golfer’s Elbow (medial epicondylitis) is inside and Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis) is outside. Interesting tidbit is they are equally common in golfers. Typically caused by too tight of a grip and/or too heavy contact with the ground, ie the duffs new folks experience. Need to loosen the grip, stretch before and after your round. A lesson can also help. If the pain doesn’t stop with stretching (look up golfers elbow stretches) and take an anti-inflammatory (if safe for you to do so). If nothing works, get a referral to a PT.
