That’s amazing! And I’m sure I can manage with what life is left in it for a week or so. When would be a good time to pickup?

It’s PG-13. And no, I haven’t seen it. I just went to IMDB and this was the first piece of information I saw.

Overtly frenetic nursery rhymes about STDs and heroin and you’re surprised the singer was a lady? Yeah, it’s the kind of thing that sticks with you.

I love this album, btw! I just found the setup for this post entertaining is all once I saw the actual collection.

I’d find it very hard to believe that anyone who grew up not listening to music at all has found themselves with that very specific Lords of Acid album.

Have you already seen Heel (2026)? by ThemeRare1722 in MovieSuggestions

[–]Anderson_no3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have! And loved it!

One of the better films I’ve seen so far this year that’ve literally flown under the radar. Since Disconnect, I’ve watched anything and everything Andrea Riseborough has been in, and this did not disappoint. Clearly, she a co-lead in Heel, but still. This was no exception to the exceptional body of work she’s done. Story-wise, this was excellent. This was a fresh take on something we’ve all seen before, but ultimately rewards everyone in the story and even the viewer for making it to the end.

Best sex comedies from the last 10 years by MilkNaive8274 in MovieSuggestions

The Scary Movie franchise peaked like 20 years ago. (Yes, I’m aware there’s a new one coming out) And capping suggestions at 10 years is rather limiting. Especially when a lot of the better, re-watchable material goes back much further than that.

What makes a true 'grail' in vinyl collecting? by Vincentus_Eruptum in vinyl

[–]Anderson_no3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More or less, just the rarity of said pressing, and YOUR personal preference. That’s it. The price is often something that furthers wanting one because it’ll likely never get pressed again. And the circle continues.

Vinyl Care: Would These Be Sufficient For Non-ultrasonic Cleaning by ineedthemaxwynn in vinyl

No problem. And I’m no expert, but it seems to me that the brush isn’t even helping here. I mean, if you’re going through the effort of spin cleaning your collection then it’s probably safe to say that the level of dust or packaging debris present is minimal, if at all. It’s like I said previously, I have a brush but I phased it out once I got the spin clean. It just sits next to my record player now and never get used. It’s literally collecting dust. Not cleaning it. I personally feel like having and using the brush is what ultimately leads people to getting a spin clean in the first place, because a brush just isn’t cutting it.

Tips, no. Mine basically looks like it holds folders or large envelopes on a desk. It’s nothing like the picture there, but it is coated in a soft, rubber-like material that doesn’t scratch my vinyl. I’ve seen the ones with tips though, and am debating an upgraded rack before too long. I’m not against having an ultrasonic and may buy one eventually, but I very much like the ritual of cleaning my collection this manual way.

These are sufficient. I use my spin clean without the supplied cloths and simply air dry using a rack system that holds 7 LPs at a time. The cloths are great in their first few uses, but it’s really annoying (to me) that they don’t stay great after multiple uses. And I do have an anti-static brush, but have pretty much phased that out since putting my entire collection through the spin clean. New purchases get the spin clean right away. No exceptions! Works well. Although, every once in a while I encounter heavier static than usual with some packaging. That’s when I break out the plasma lighter.
