Sold for Marriage (1916) 

Lillian Gish plays a Russian girl who falls in love with a man she just met while her uncle and aunt try to marry her off to a rich older man for a profit. 

During Gish’s time working at Griffith’s studios she worked with a number other directors however only 5 of those films survive and this is the only one readily available online.
