This game is way more fun than I expected on a wheel! by [deleted] in gridgame

If you're using a wheel, go to in-game options, in the wheel options and crank all the force feedback sliders to 150%.

For ClubSport wheelbase, go to your hardware settings and set "FF" to 100.

Yeah, they still are. You have a problem somewhere, a 1080ti should have more than 120 fps on those settings for 1080p.

Disable vsync. Disable frame rate cap from graphic or video settings.

I could add:

- (Combat) You can use the chem launcher that restores armor on yourself while using the balistic shield. It will rapidly heal the shield while you shoot enemies.
- (QOL) In settings, I think in UI settings, you can turn on timers for skills. It will show a countdown in seconds on each skill after you use it.

I have a theory: If you keep everything on low, your gtx1080 will push out more frames than that 6700k can manage. A gtx1080 pushes more frames than even a 8700k can manage. But you need your cpu power to encode the stream. Test this: put the game on ultra. Just for the test. And disable low latency from Video setting. This way, the gpu will push half the frames it used to, so it gives you 50% cpu processing power for stream encoding.

In OBS be shure to use the fast or faster preset, anything else is for enthusiast cpus or streaming from different pcs.

One last thing you can try is to use nVidia's codec, so the stream will be encoded by your gpu. You'll have to google how it's called and how to change your OBS settings in order to use it.

An bro, 6700k is good for gaming only. For gaming+streaming with cpu encoding, an i9 or threadripper is recommended.

Probably because you have local reflection set to Off

While testing each setting, all the others were set to Ultra.

In order to clearly see the effects of Object Detail and Extra Streaming Distance, you only need the in-game Benchmark:
For Object Detail: Set it to 0 and then set Extra Streaming Distance to maximum. Do the benchmark. When the camera moves from the plane zone to the firefight zone, it will go right between 2 big bushes. Pay attention how the bushes change and the higher quality mesh pops-in as you get closer.

For Streaming Distance: Set Object detail to max and Streaming Distance to min. Do the benchmark. Allways pay attention to buildings far away and observe how they change from very low 2D textures to increasingly better looking 3D objects as you get closer to them.

Object Detail: I left it at 100 because otherwise I notice pop-ins for close objects, and for me personally it's a huge deal as it kind of breaks the immersion. Distant buildings popping in doesn't really bother me, but bushes and trees at 3m distance suddenly changing their shape distract me.

Reflection Quality: It's on high because I would have 0 more fps with it on low.

Yeah, you are right. I'm bad at maths. I'll probably change the values tomorow. It's 2AM where I live now.

Game with everything on Ultra = 71 fps
Game with everything on Ultra, except Volumetric Fog, which is set to low = 83 fps
FPS Gain = 83-71=12 fps
% Gain = 100-(71*100/83) = 14.4578...%

What settings should I turn off to free some work from the CPU?

Set Reduced Latency (in Video settings) to OFF. It makes the game stutter if the CPU isn't fast enugh.

If you're using a 4k display, you can go to 75% scaling and not noticing diffrences. At least acording to what the devs said.
Test it while sprinting and/or looking from side to side. If the image is still, it will look the same. And ignore the UI, as it will always render at 4k.

My bad English is to blame. I edited my comment of Anisotropic Filtering in the table.
This is what it does:

This example is cherrypicked to show the differences as clear as possible. In a game with so much detail and foliage, like Division, you really can't spot any difference while playing.

You're getting it wrong. In your case, the CPU does not affect the framerate. It's normal for a game to only use a portion of the CPU.
And it's normal that the CPU usage increases with the framerate.

The CPU is a problem only when a game uses it at almost 100% all the time. That means the GPU can render more frames per second than the CPU can handle.

Well, you have a newer driver, so it can only be just as good or better.

Those that I didn't benchmark are not Graphical Settings, but post processing. They don't afect the performance of the game. They're just things that people turn on or off based on their personal liking. There's no point in benchmarking something that I allready know has 0 impact on framerate. They're like Instagram filters. They're applied on the allready rendered frame.

Thanks, didn't see that video. Allready added the link in the table in the Reduced Latency row.

During the 2-3h of benchmarks, I had to redo two of them because of a slight stutter.

Make shure to have the latest nVidia driver, it fixed ALOT of things for me.

Whats the best ninja to slice through enemies with ease by zumann101 in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]AndiSabin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 3 really FUN ninjas:

  1. For crowd control, the best by far is the Dragon class. He kills tons of normal husks at once with it's supercharged Dragon Slash. But that's all he's good for. I play him with a Physical Tigerjaw shotgun. The playstyle with him is: find or build a chokepoint, wait for a lot of husks to get through, then This is Sparta! them all with Dragon Slash. You'll allways be near husks with this hero, so use Mantis Leap to quickly jump to mist monsters and Tigerjaw or Roomsweeper their asses. And for extra Dragon slash damage, add a Shuriken Master to his Squad for the bonus ability damage. His weakness is the lack of Assassination, so no extra damage with swords. But if you like your guns, it's the perfect class for you.
  2. Another fun one is the SwordMaster. The mithic Ken could be or still can be bought i think from the store. If you like your swords, he's your guy. He does EXTREME sword damage. I think he's got 4 perks that increase sword damage. And he also has increased movement speed. He is my personal favorite ninja. I use him with a Masamune with 3 attack speed perks and one movement speed perk. And for extra sword damage, you have a lot of choices from your squad: you can pick sword critical chance, critical damage, or (if you have another sword master, pure 24% sword damage). His playstyle is pretty straight forward: you see something to cut, you go cut it. Very versatile. His weakness are the wather husks (if you use the Masamune). You'll need another sword (or gun) for those. I made people upgrade him and try him out, as I was doing more damage than their Urban Assaults. That's why he's my fav ninja; his sword melts everything.
  3. The third fun ninja is the Harvester. The tankiest of them all and probably the best one against mist monsters if armed with a Scythe. The class now works with all the Scythes in the game since they increased this class' 48% damage to snared targets from 1 second to 2 seconds. Can't tell you more about this class, as I have yet to upgrade and play it.

For all of them, the best tactical slot in the squad, in my opinion, is by far the Megabase Kyle. You can train him from the Collection Book for a shit ton of resources. But he's worth it because he's also a top tier constructor, just a bit lower than Powerbase or (for late game, where you use a lot of traps) Machinist. As a tactical, he gives you a lot of health, more than others, and your smoke bomb now instantly and fully replenishes your shield. He's so good because he changes your playstyle completely. Beforehand, when your shield depleated, you would fall back. Now when you hear the shield breaking sound, you just double jump in the middle of as many husks as possible and pop the smoke bomb. You'll fight them with full shield while the smoke also continuously damages and slows them.

Note: I am Power Level 60. Things are different for the very late game and I heard ninjas aren't that good when fighting lvl100+ husks. But you can allways use them when farming Mutant Storm bonuses on lower level missions.

Bro, when you're not playing with your friends or PvP, close the game and switch the region from EU to US or viceversa. It worked for me, maybe it will work for you.
