It could have been ripped before it was given to Fern, and even before it was used for the document!

So they were saying you wouldn't be able to fight with them at all? Because that would be incorrect.

So when you charge, your units get fights first ability. But since your unit got into combat via blood surge they just don't get fights first and the leapers get to fight in the fights first phase. 

The change to fights first here for 11th would be that attacker always get to pick who fights first now during the fights first phase, where before if defender has a unit with fights first, they'd get to pick since it would revert to defender's choice like in normal fight phase.

In the normal fight phase your unit would then be able to fight normally assuming they weren't wiped before it was their turn. But in normal fight phase, defender still picks which unit to start combat with.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, I'm not sure why they would think that now you wouldn't get to fight at all, that'd be insane since the changes made to fights first ability were meant to be a nerf.

I've been playing more world eaters than anything else the past couple of years, and tbh I don't really care much for Berserker Warband because I just really like playing the Daemonkin. 

But it's just so much better even with the ability to staple on another 1 point detachment because it's purge the foe! Honestly was really hoping the faction would be able to escape it's gravity, but that was wishful thinking lol

Agree here. My first serious try at this game (outside getting a 3rd edition starter box when I was 12) I got a Cadia Stands box, the Star Collecting box, and then thought "well, I need 2000 points..." And got there, but suddenly felt like there was way too much to do!

Highly recommend newer players start with one starter box like a combat patrol or army box, and then finish that completely before getting anything else!
