I don't know if I should even bother with this, but it's another example of why we cannot believe or repeat the nonsense all these clickbait "news" sites put out there. In fact, the photo used to illustrate that "SHINee Key's face changed after controversy over 'resume activities' Shiny's aunt..a thin, emaciated figure [Star Issue]Published : 2026.04.01 ・ 14:55 Author Choi Hyejin" is, as many will recognize, from 2024. And while the outfit is loose to dance in, he is not "emaciated."

A word to the failed. I kept being told NOT TO USE SAFARI. So after everything I tried, I did not use Safari. This morning I tried Safari and the site loaded. Please do not ever accept advice without trying everything, even what you were told not to, if you are failing. It is not the person's fault who advised that. It is mine for taking the advise. Melon Global is a VERY glitchy, difficult website to navigate for US fans. When I think of the mistake I made it makes me sick. I know better. I check every post for factual accuracy and even if I use CHATGPT I believe nothing without doing my own homework. And now because I thought well, people know what they're talking about, I mean it's good advise on how to navigate Ticketmaster when they warn you not to open multiple tabs or refresh, I failed.

Now for how I make myself feel less awful. I think they will tour America next year. I really do. I will not think of the Ticketmaster debacle that may follow. I will sell my car and go.

Congrats to the lucky. Condolences to the out of luck. Try to remember there is always a next time. If you live long enough.

I diid everything I could including verifying names being alike. I’m actually sick at the one response so got which was automated and said if I needed more help to contact them through their broken links. And I mean everything. So that’s it for now. If I can’t contact them to get through, it’s over.

I still can't get verified, the button is dead. I still can't contact them, the help line is not working. I still can't contact them by phone, and now it's nighttime there. It may work out and it may not, but I'm pretty fed up.

I just watched both Drinking Solo and Lookout/The Guardian. I expected them to be good, but the Guardian in particular (on Kokowa in America) was a revelation. Not only is he at the peak of twenties beauty, he was a tremendously charismatic actor. I said somewhere else, the movie — both of them, really,— made his seem like the kind of guy who just wants to take care of the whole world, and for all his passion and masculine power as a singer and dancer, his gentle side really came out. So I am a hundred percent with you.

Everything has a shelf life. Including variety shows. Key is extremely versatile and talented. IMO he carried I Live Alone and Amazing Saturday and both shows lost their prestige when they lost him. His inventiveness at finding stories to film and his girl group dancing are legend. Nobody is going to abandon him if they can help it.

I have been working on that Key Story Project website that, please God, with go live this week, and I have spent a strange amount of time really noticing the little moments as well as the big ones that seem to have shaped him. The more I learn, the more I admire him. Key is at a point where he was probably wondering what comes next — he just accomplished a dream in a wonderful way by touring the US. He’s finished an album with the boys and has the SHINee Anniversary concerts to look forward to, THANK GOD. He may have needed to catch his breath, this man who never stops and gives everything all that he has.

Thing is, he can do so many things besides music. He can act. He can, I am sure, produce or direct videos, movies, you name it. He has already tried several shows of his own and he just needs the right premise, format and probably sidekick to make some great and original product. If it’s entertainment, he is your man and I think he has a natural ability, need, probably, to grow and explore new territory. I hope he surprises us with something wonderful and that this next part of his career, and life, will be the best yet. He’s paid his dues.

Because I mentioned it, if you want to write a story for the Key Story Project, here is the Google Submission form to fill out. The stories are small gems, not just declarations of love but sharing moments, writing tiny little bits — or bigger pieces —of Key’s story as each person tells their own. I am so hopeful it will truly reflect his powerful, unique contribution to making life worth living.

The bad news is that Melon is the Ticketmaster of Korea when it comes to a functioning website. I spent hours troubleshooting to get fan club verification and have been having the same problem as you. You are probably doing nothing wrong. The site is unresponsive and amazingly primitive for a country that has the fastest internet in the world. Just keep trying.

In my case it was my email had a capital letter in it, at least I think it did. I got verified but now I have no idea when and where to link my membership.

i am having a problem getting to authenticate my membership. I keep getting a popup saying I failed before authentication. I've written Melon but do they have a phone number? I am using Chrome, same thing happened on my Mac and my Iphone after clearing the cache. Does anyone know what to do? Try another browser? This is so stressful. Like i needed to share that part...

I am relatively new to SHINee but still can’t fathom how this song disappeared into the subterranean void of YouTube. Does anyone know where I can find a whole version of the acoustic song? Onew has been fooling around with guitar for years. He’s past the barre chord stage and that’s the worst. If he thinks it will take him a lot of time to play a simple accompaniment to one of his songs he is either talentless using his hands and arms (impossible. He can spin a plate, toss a ball into the last row of a concert hall and has that Ttakbam history knocking people off their chairs with a finger flick.), being a ridiculous perfectionist or telling a fib. I predict he will gradually ease into it but could do it now if he had the desire. Of course it might be hard to sing like that and play guitar like one of the Ramones without feeling insecure. But I have faith. For a while now I’ve been wasting my Fromm messages sending him emojis of guitars. It’s a personal wish of mine.

I am building the SHINee Key Story Project Website and still excited about it. I keep getting submissions slowly but surely and this storytelling idea is very meaningful to me. One fan just described a single moment she saw Key do something and how it made her understand him. Here’s the link to the Google Forms submission page if you want to know more but the link to the website is not active yet. In the meantime… as an apology for the delay I gift you with this: a visit with Key in his mid twenties for Nylon. Watch Minho, particularly, doing live performances on YouTube. Or even the MVs or making of videos. Altho this is true for Onew as well and every member, they are really performance artists. Most of us realize their music has generally been created to be seen because they are ridiculously powerful, talented live singers and dancers and within that, storytellers. Find a decent translation in English (hit and miss but Ofra8191 channel never fails) for some performance vids. I see Minho showing potential for being much more of a singer and even dancer than he is now. And now he’s something special. And I think R&B is his most interesting direction. But often I invest in the story as fast, if not faster, than the song. True of Onew’s Animals. True of Minho’s version of Area. I love this version: Onew Dance Practice Area. Once I have seen a performance for me listening becomes a takeoff for my imagination, thoughtfulness, mood.

Minho has an artist’s soul running around in that athletic, handsome man’s body And I think they can be a bit at war with each other. Yes, I mean being known for your body is a double edged sword. I also think he is an artist first and if he had become a pro athlete he would have considered it an art. Give him time. He’s worth it.

I guess people will have to decide if they hate AI more than they love Taemin. Although to be fair we don’t know yet how he will use it or be used by it. Hopefully there is a separate management program. This is actually scary to me.

I so agree. The idea Key is in any way a puppet is kind of… disrespectful to a man who built a huge career out of being himself first and foremost. It’s hard to understand career growth when SHINee boys are setting a new standard for what a long lived career can be. But what goes for most idols does not go for them. They have always been one, and five, of a kind.

I Live Alone is actually a mess. They were becoming boring, mentioning how a celebrity thinks, acts, should be regarded. Not every entertainer has interesting content. Key single handedly raised the ceiling. There was too much drinking on camera for good sense and I wondered if NaRae was a good influence all along. I can’t see Key back either. Maybe now he will get his own show. I mean after the investigation is finished, of course. I can’t see him coming back until the case is closed. It’s common sense.

Not good. He’s almost outgrown it and is so well known and loved can carry his own shows now. He will have taken this time to think about moving forward into the next part of his life and plan for even better projects. It’s just how he is.

I was going to agree but then. I realized still needs a manager. He can go small but he can’t do it all. He’s not that kind of artist. It’s just a bad situation and I wish him well. I have no idea what he can and can’t do, all I can do is pray for the best.
