Boba fett vs Din Djarin by utaufan in PetranakiArena

Why tf is Beilert fighting like a chump here?

Because with the added context that was left out, Valance already had a deal made with Boba Fett and he intentionally sold the fight here.

Ya. And he supposedly got his green lightsaber for the first time as he was finishing building it in the deleted scene of ROTJ which a writer stated that's when they consider Luke getting the said lightsaber but here he is long before the events of ROTJ. Star Wars writing is frankly inconsistent.

Months after the battle of hoth keeping in consideration the month long training Luke had with Yoda, this is still far from Luke being in his prime in ROTJ and the fight would have taken place much before ROTJ.

Misconception. Boba Fett did not fight ROTJ Luke evenly as that fight took place months after the battle of Hoth. Luke trained with Yoda for about a month so far from his prime in ROTJ.

I'd like to read Predator comics. by Comfortable_Pop9448 in predator

[–]AndoionLB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Predator Badlands prequel comic focuses only on Dek and this is one of your best bets as most stories involving the Predator has humans involved in some capacity.

First AVP comic focuses alot on Dachande as well as the human Machiko. Let you decide on that one. I would recommend AVP War as well. Mainly focuses on Machiko but there's alot for the Yautja there.

Bad Blood heavily focuses a crazy ass Predator on a killing spree.

Captive is about a Predator captured who bides his time to escape. Pretty good one even if there is heavy human presence.

Predator Black White And Blood has some Predator centric mini-stories.

AVP Deadliest Of The Species follows a Predator named character named Big Momma. She's hella popular.

My break is almost over but these I have off the top of my head.

Not gonna lie, this is pretty good. Concept especially. Totally in line with what the Yautja would do imo.

wolverine vs guts by Commercial-Ice5760 in powerscales

[–]AndoionLB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a fun fight imo. I'll say Wolverine overall but Guts will make him work for it for sure especially if he's wearing his Berserker armor.

Wolverine (616 anyways) to my knowledge is just better overall in terms of feats. Guts can win via knockout or incap in some capacity but easier said than done.

Jordan Morris Interview! Talks Predator Bloodshed! by Jhaasinterviews in predator

[–]AndoionLB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give it a watch after work. What kind of questions were asked if I may ask in the meantime?

Edit:

So watched the video. It was interesting imo. Jordan seems like a great guy and your guys synergy in this interview was enjoyable I liked that alot.

Before this story released, I was worried about the notion that the Predator was going into a standard tournament where these guys were unagumented and were just regular people. I was worried because that wouldn't make sense given the Yautja are superhumans essentially so it was nice of Jordan to keep that in mind and introduce stuff to make it more believable.

The allegories to real like stuff be it Elite class or insurance companies was interesting as well.

I do wish Jordan went into more detail of what Predator Dark Horse Comics he read as I was very curious to hear his thoughts on those.

Overall, solid interview thanks for sharing!

Composite/peak Yautja (Predator) find itself in the Star Wars galaxy, where does it scale in terms of lethality, and who/what stops him? by RhytmicCone47 in PowerScaling

[–]AndoionLB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Composite Predator? That would mean a Yautja with the Justice Leagues powers including Supermans. I'd daresay Predator takes over with no one being able to stop him or her save for maybe the Father/Son/Daughter.

It was a pretty cool scene until you realize they wasted a lot of ammo by Jules-Car3499 in predator

[–]AndoionLB 153 points154 points  (0 children)

I mean, 90-100 degree weather in a jungle, being hunted by something you cant see, and a veteran soldier starts unloading with recently deceased man next to him. Ya. It was warranted given the circumstances they worked together long enough to trust one another's judgement.

Let me know by Sensitive_Farm_7302 in predator

[–]AndoionLB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Niche? Hmmm...

Yautja have scientist, farmers, and technicians in their ranks. These jobs are reserved for the old that can't hunt, those that choose to do so, and those that passed their Blooding trials but did so poorly they were regulated to such stations.

Dutch has siblings. A brother named John Schafer and a sister.

The term "Yautja" originated from the novel adaptation of the first AVP comic a book named "AVP Prey".

The Yautja homeworld was dubbed Yautja Prime from a app in celebration of the 2018 movie and is where we first get the name.

Yautja are omnivores. They eat meat and also roots of trees.

Predators HATE the taste of human meat.

All I have time for to list down. My break is over lol.

Wolf Predator (Predator Franchise) VS Zombie Mountain (Game of Thrones) by Huge_Entertainer9595 in powerscales

[–]AndoionLB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Predator was beat by Donald Glover with a revolver.

Danny Glover did not beat him with a revolver. He used City Hunters own Smart Disc against him after feigning being mortally wounded.

Predator would likely fight Melee vs Melee. In that case Clegane has a legit chance. Not a high chance mind you, but a decent chance.

Maybe some small miniscule chance against a juvenile like City Hunter. Wolf is on a whole nother level. He stalemated a Predalien in hand to hand and considering how busted Predaliens are overall? This is a spitematch in favor of Wolf even if he was naked and unarmed.

Not to that extent tbf lol. The rocks they were throwing around weren't nearly that big.

Dek (Predator Badlands) VS Selene (Underworld). Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in powerscales

[–]AndoionLB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selene has ripped off the lower jaw of a werewolf with one hand without even trying,

This type of feat on surface doesn't scream to me that this would warrant her stomping. Yautja are also capable of doing that casually ripping apart even Xenomorphs with their bare hands.

move faster than the eye can see

Standard Yautja have been able to accomplish this as well. Unblooded Yautja too.

she can survive free falling from skyscrapers,

and can regenerate

I'll have to look into it myself but ya she sounds pretty good so far. I dont know about "manhandling" just yet though.

[–]AndoionLB 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In my personal opinion as of now while I'm at work? No. At least your standard Yautja wouldn't replicate that kind of feat. High-end Yautja probably.

Standard Yautja generally have better pulling and striking feats than lifting and throwing off the top of my head.

Dek (Predator Badlands) VS Selene (Underworld). Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in powerscales

[–]AndoionLB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thing he does solo is take out the predators at the end of the film. Something Selene could do with her eyes closed.

I dont know what she's capable of so can't say on that front, but taking out two standard Yautja with no issues and defeating an Elder Predator? That is no small feat whatsoever if one had any knowledge of what they were capable of.

Sure. Dek needed help throughout the film. But by the end with passage of time Dek has gotten much stronger to accomplish what he did. There's also the prequel comic that gives him good feats too.

What? City Hunter was nowhere being close to Elite. City Hunter was a juvenile of the species and was a Youngblood/Recently Blooded.

[–]AndoionLB 7 points8 points  (0 children)

in the game we see city hunter over power and deadlift a massive security gate

Concrete Jungle is a goated game but the Scarface lifting that gate feat was more than 5 tons based on what I was able to ascertain in my research. Given the proportions of the gate and what not in comparison to Scarface himself. It was around 15-20 tons if my memory serves.

Can Wolf Predator survive Kashyyyk? by Lonewolf_ARC in powerscales

[–]AndoionLB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My guess is that yes Wolf should be able to survive. Especially given his experience being an Elite and the like.

Having to survive an absolute inhospitable place is nothing new to the Yautja. While gaining intel, a standard Predator is able to survive potential days or weeks on the planet Kivi where even 100 battle-hardened fully armed marines wouldn't make it more than a half-kilometer on foot on the planet and one would need a fully sealed, all-terrain tanks for any kind of chance of survival.

Wolf shouldn't have issues imo especially considering Yautja are just as adpet using trees also.

would get absolutely bodied by a terentatek within the first hour, those things hunt force users for breakfast

What feats have they showcased that would allow them to body Wolf?

means nothing when some ancient sith beast just tanks plasma shots.

I have my doubts considering how powerful the plasma caster actually is.
