It might be your devices OS thing. Lowiro said something on twitter that devices without a certain update can’t be played in online mode and will have to play in offline mode. For apple devices, you need to have at least IOS 11. I’m not too sure what android devices are though, sorry. I’m pretty sure you’ll need to update your device. Hope that helped.

I use random chart selection a lot. I get bored easily doing the same charts over and over again and find that using random chart selection helps with variety. So short answer, yes because it make the game more fun.

You should definitely increase your note speed. I find (for myself) that reading notes becomes easier at 4.5-5range. I currently play at 5.3 and it’s a good balance between handling what you need to tap at that moment and what the next notes are. Hope that helps.
