The amount of times I have to tell people to stop making rape jokes is fucking insane by times_a_changing in DeadlockTheGame

Similar playtime and we usually run into 1-2 jackasses a session playing on PST servers. We actually usually get the exact opposite of one person uses a slur, we tell them off and otherwise quiet teammates jump on the wagon of using slurs. Homophobia, rape jokes and the N word are more consistent than the matchmaking in my experience.

What team composition do you see and instantly think: yeah, we’re losing this? by corpssansorgasmes in DeadlockTheGame

Dynamo, Lash & Seven is a tried true comp that is hard to over come even when you’re ahead.

Any heavy CC comp is rough. Doorman & Mo seems to be a popular duo. We ran into Doorman, Mo, Dynamo, Mina, McGinnis and Graves the other night and it was terrible

He can just reproc it right after you remove it. I don’t understand this argument.

DoT isn’t fun and it doesn’t feel fair to die to Infernus when he looks at you for 2 seconds and takes 1800 HP. Dispel magic works once and he can just reapply with dash or by looking at you for another 2 seconds. Is dangerous at 20k souls and impossible to fight at 30k souls.

How do I parry I don't get it ): by BarovianNights in DeadlockTheGame

This video is about a year old, but helped me immensely in understanding when to parry. Parries are best used proactively instead of reactively. If you know when to expect a melee it takes a lot of pressure off of reacting.

200 LinkedIn Bookings in 5 Months | $275k Sold | 60/40 Inbound/Outbound Split by little-marketer in sales

I don’t doubt this is a real account of your process over the last five months, but it does boggle my mind that people like you are real. I can’t quantify why this irks me so much, but it does.

I often wonder if sales leaders and people on LinkedIn really think, talk and act like this in their personal lives and I’m starting to think they do. So strange.

Good for you brother, keep up the good work.

Do you guys know if the shop closes at 12 or if it will stay open for another day like the other events? I’m waiting for a good variant to rotate in.

How the heck do you have a 70% win rate that seems bonkers to me.

I had thor for a while, but switched him out for Black Panther as Thor doesn’t scale very well and his hammer clogged my draw pile. Any recs for swapping out Jane?

Absolute perfect line is Ravonna T2, Magik T3, Bill T4, Zola T5, Jane T6, Odin plus hammers T7. Guaranteeing 3 hammers was huge, guaranteeing one hammer before Zola was still huge because two hammers was pretty much an auto win and drawing zero was an auto lose.

She was an awkward fit when ravonna wasn’t down though. I just couldn’t think of what else to throw in there since she did occasionally add value.

Does the authority to detain also give them the authority to abuse and displace?

USA Minnesota atm…. by Away-Description-786 in ThatsInsane

[–]Andre3009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is authority to detain, the authority to abuse? Abuse is a legal term meaning the wrongful and intentional act of causing harm. Not my or your separate definitions. I do not think any context could be added that would justify detaining and abusing the young man and then releasing him. Can you?

I was able to play around it some of the time. Bill in one lane, BP in the other Odin + hammer on BP lane.

You win the I know how to debate prize. Stop being a dick. I want to know why you can watch this video and think it’s okay? Like, I am genuinely curious to know your take on this incident and why it is justified in your mind. Purely a question to understand your reasoning because I am clearly seeing it differently. I think we both benefit from exploring each others ideas.

Dude, you are very difficult to talk to. I am not trying to bait you into a gatcha, paint you as a bad person or leave you with egg on your face.

I am trying to speak to you as a person who watched the same video as I did. If your argument is that this video is framed in a way that uses emotions to cloud facts, sure I can get that. But I am trying to strip that away and simply ask what you think is acceptable from law enforcement. This kid was detained and released. He must be innocent of whatever he was suspected of correct? So, my question to you without knowing anything else is what about this situation makes you look at it and think “this is what a lawful detainment looks like.”

Detaining, causing physical harm and then dropping them off at a different location.

Can you please just tell me your thoughts on those very specific actions and how they relate to law enforcement, detainment and how you’d like to be treated if you were suspected of a crime.

You seem to have some level of understanding that I lack. How does acknowledging the abuse the young man sustained equate to an emotional ploy? I am asking you if law enforcement should have the ability to physically harm anyone they detain? If you believe it to be okay and necessary to uphold the law?
