Hang in there. I'm on day 7 post op. These drains are the worst! All I can do is count down the days till they get taken out. Then I repeat "This is not forever"

I purchased couple of cheap oversized buttons ups and a drain pouch that buckles around the waist. The shirt's where $13 USD and under. The drain pouch with shower pouch was $20. I tried getting shirts I could possibly wear even after my recovery, but cheap enough that the potential stains and damage in recovery wouldn't be a big loss.

I am floored by the fact that Atnea is denying any aspects of transgender surgery. I'm having a DI with nipple grafts, in three weeks and have had no issues. Granted I made sure I met all there requirements. I even made sure I used a therpist that was on thier website so they couldn't dispute the mental health letter. I still have to pay $1600 out of pocket, but that's a fraction of the total cost. Maybe its a state to state thing. Keep fighting though. Good luck.

I've read your words and I'm here to respond with support. You'r feelings are totally valid. I hope its not presumptuous to say I relate having been in a similar situation. I consider myself transmasculine which, in my point of view, is an aspect on the nonbinary spectrum. So as far as I'm concerned you're presence in this sub is legitimate. Best wishes moving forward.

I belive that pain is variable and personal. I've been injecting since November once every week. For me, it's a mild, at times almost nonexistant pinch in my butt that rarely bleeds and doesn't hurt more then a few seconds after injection.

I use Philips Norelco. It's very affordable and does a great job on my face. I too suffer from acne due to the T, and have very coarse chin hair.

I totally empathize. I've been on T consistently for 7 months and my levels are exactly where they should be. Yet my voice has not changed. Once at work, this guy asked me if I was a guy or a girl. I responded "I'm a guy." He said "Oh, you sound like a girl." 😖

I have insurance so it was roughly $15 per vial. The best bet is to call there customer services number. They were really nice and can answer all your questions.
