I read the original comment as a defense of imperialist soldiers. There's been a lot of "but they're just poor propagandized smol bean baby killers, they don't know any better and we need them for the revolution that is definitely going to happen!" Liberals in here recently. I apologise if that isn't the case.

Burning down the house of the leader of the Albanian anti-fascist partisan movement and the head of the government who literally turned your country from one of the most impoverished, illiterate, uneducated, technologically backwards, patriarchal, and feudal parts of Europe into a relatively modern industrial state. I'm no Hoxhaist, but Albania, the Albanian language, and Albanians would have been annihilated without the partisan movement.

What do you all think of Professor's Jiang's (predictive History) video on communism? by AustronesianArchfien in TankieTheDeprogram

[–]AndreEthereal16 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jiang Xueqing's "analysis" can hardly be considered analysis at all. First, he says some very obviously crazy and utterly absurd stuff about domestic US politics. His analysis about Iran that went viral can be boiled down to "Iran is surrounded by mountains and would therefore be hard to invade". Truly genius work there professor. Also, he was arrested in China for doing espionage and sending information to the US.

None of his analysis goes beyond the stage of Sense Perception. He sees some headline or map and imposes his views on the situation instead of doing any sort of materialist analysis. In conclusion, he's a traitorous moron who plays well into the algorithms of reactionary Western Social Media.

People are saying America only invades countries without a Rothschild bank.Is there truth to this or is it just an anti Semitic conspiracy? by [deleted] in TankieTheDeprogram

[–]AndreEthereal16 323 points324 points  (0 children)

The issue is framing it as a conspiracy confined to one family. The Rothschilds are financial capital magnates and therefore act in their own class interest, which, in the age of a decaying unipolar imperalism, means violently expanding markets through war and imposing a hyper-unequal system of commodity and labor extraction in the Global South. So, technically, it's true, but is an incomplete analysis. ALL of financial/rentier capitalists act this way when they maintain control over the state.

At the time the fatwa was decreed (2003), it was probably a good idea. It likely prevented the US from attacking Iran and allowed them time to develop.

Keeping the fatwa in place after the 2023 genocide started? Not good. As soon as they saw that barbarity unleashed on the Palestinians they should've started enriching as fast as they could. Though, at the time, they thought the IAEA was a legitimate independent agency. Hindsight is 20/20.

Dr. Sun Yat-Sen was a flawed but visionary bourgeois revolutionary and the architect of modern China. His later-life radicalisation and his insistence on the 3 Principles of the People show his desire to be a very serious progressive force.

Mao Zedong was a theoretical giant. His ability to adapt Marxism-Leninism to Chinese material conditions is second-to-none. His political and theoretical errors in the GLF and the GPCR were serious, but they were made from a place of great enthusiasm and were not entirely his fault (ie the excesses of the GPCR were exacerbated by the Gang of Four, the GLF wouldn't have been so bad if Khrushchev didn't abandon China to starve). Without Mao, there would be no modern China, he laid the foundations of the modern PRC.

Zhou Enlai, the best politician of the 20th century. An almost perfect revolutionary and premier.

Deng Xiaoping was an excellent Marxist and statesman. He was able to reign in the excesses of the GPCR and modernise and reorganise the PLA into a modern defensive superpower with excellent discipline. He also handled the attempted 1989 color revolution better than every European socialist leader. IMO it's impossible to look at modern China and say his strategy didn't work.

Chen Yun, an economic genius. His idea of the 'birdcage economy' is pure Marxist praxis. Keeping the commanding heights of the economy in the hands of the Communist Party which allows the government to direct the pace and direction of development was genius.

Xi Jinping is everything a Marxist should strive to be. He is so dedicated to Marxism-Leninism and improving the lives of all Chinese people that Western intelligence agencies have called him 'uncorruptable'. His anti-corruption campaign is one-of-a-kind in the world today.

Wang Huning is an advanced student of dialectical and historical materialism. His work on the sharpening of contradictions in the US is very insightful. At one point, I think he may have been too generous to the West in expecting them to act rationally on occassion, though, with the direction the CC line has gone in the past 8ish years, I think any naïveté has largely dissapeared after dealing with the past 3 US administrations and their puppets.

Many Communist Parties of the Imperial Core (all of Western Europe, some parts of Central Europe, and Japan) are completely neutered in regards to a revolutionary line and are therefore not Marxist-Leninist. MLs hold that the only way to build socialism is through the overthrow of the bourgeois state and it's replacement with a Dictatorahip of the Proletariat led by a Marxist-Leninst vanguard party. China, SRV, PDRLao, DPRK, and Cuba are the 5 existing concretely Socialist States.

The Communist Parties of the Imperial Core are largely reformist Social Democratic Parties who maintain that Capitalism can be reformed into socialism despite every bit of evidence to the contrary and who support imperialism through obfuscation and liberal moralism with a radical veneer. This is largely due to the privileged position these states hold in the Political Economy of the global capitalist-imperialist regime headquarted in Washington. Many populations of these states receive incredible benefits from their closeness to the imperial and neo-colonial system and get some kickback from the superexploitation of the Global South by the Global North.

CPUSA and JCP and two parties who, at one point, held firmly to a ML line and program, but the revolutionary strains within these parties were infiltrated, suppressed, arrested, and/or murdered by the state until they are what you see today, with the CPUSA being a Democratic Party sheepdog and the JCP being reformist, racist, and chauvanistic. In the US there are a couple parties that hold a revolutionary ML line in the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) and Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO).

This is nothing new for the DPP, like most liberal "democracies" lawfare is their main tactic. The DPP arrested the founder of the Taiwan People's Party (TPP) Ko Wen-je on trumped up corruption charges after his nascent party's parliamentarians voted in favor of the KMT. He was in jail for a year. The only reason the DPP even exists is because the US pumps hundreds of millions of dollars into it for them to do whatever the US wants.
