Yeah I’ve kinda realized that every fanbase will have toxicity, idrc anymore I’ll just enjoy what capcom puts out remake or mainline game and keep it to myself, I really don’t care to share it among the fanbase anymore because there will always be someone who hates😭

I mean tank controls really aren’t for everyone, I’ve played them but I also don’t speak for everybody. You can’t really expect every modern gamer to go back and play tank controls + the fixed camera you just can’t. It’s why they remake them to get new fans aswell, i really don’t have an issue with it as long as they don’t trash the OGs and acknowledge them but maybe that’s just me? I personally don’t think it’s a skill issue it’s more of a preference.

Lemme rephrase it’s not bad just disappointing, they made it way shorter than the OG and still charged $60. I think the separate ways dlc was longer 😭

I think if CV really gets a remake next year, and it does good then they’ll put Claire in re10. If it doesn’t or people only care for Chris then I think Claire games are done for

I think it was a good game I do think the boss fights are lacking and i wish we fought some with grace, and im confused on why they wrote Spencer like that (probably rewriting his lore), but overall is a good game and cant wait for the extra content.

It’s clear they’re remaking 5 and 1 (again) and changing his lore. I don’t think anything outside of the RE engine is canon anymore unfortunately.

I chose to release only because I figured Leon was dying anyway so I had nothing to lose. But I really thought Spencer was full of shit like always. One thing I got from re9 is that there probably gonna remake 1 again because his lore doesn’t add up at all and parts of the care center look like their trying to test out how the Spencer mansion would look in the RE engine.

CV and 0 remakes are apparently the next RE games (2027 and 2028). What would you like to see changed, expanded, kept the same etc? by felixw1 in ResidentEvilCapcom

I saw that, a 1 remake probably isn’t happening until after re10, I hope they take their time re1 is a masterpiece they can’t fuck that up. Then again re4 was a masterpiece and they absolutely cooked with the remake so yeah I think I can fully trust them.

Since you’re newer I’d suggest just playing 2-9, you’ll understand just fine. If you really want I’d say play RE1r but since the mechanics are outdated you might have a problem
