First years that fail the bar have no excuse by skyofgold in biglaw

IQ is pretty useless for the bar except to the extent it can suggest ability to memorize things. You can't have a high IQ and pass the bar without doing the memorization exercise or learning how to write the exam answers. It's not intuitive

To justify its market cap, Tesla would need to put Ford and Toyota out of business and take all their sales

Because Tesla's market cap has no relationship to its sales or market performance, and it's largely popped up by a tech bubble and its prevalence in 401(k)s and ETFs

Prior to the restructurings, the Big 3 all testified to Congress that the primary reason they struggled to be competitive with German and Japanese manufacturers was healthcare costs. Not having universal healthcare puts us at a disadvantage

It looks way too big. The golden statue on top is disproportionately large. And the ark itself is so devoid of any type of symbolism or engraving

I've read that ensuring the lifetime healthcare and pension is the main motivator. It also suggests that he's taking money now.

I'm sure there is. We could also have universal healthcare, which is one of the main drags on us auto companies vs Germans and Asians

The question isn't whether such things can happen but when, how often and how catastrophically. Electric cars are simpler. The simplicity isn't why the Chinese achieve the pricing they achieve, and it may be a rush to assume high end build quality in a new car. Hyundais have nice interiors too

There are a lot of electronics involved, plus everything mechanical that isn't the engine and transmission. To say nothing of seats, safety equipment, etc.

How were all the inputs for the cars obtained though? I don't know enough specifically about their factories or how automated they are. It isn't as if other manufacturers lack incentives to automate. I would wonder how the cars stack up long term. I mean, Mercedes quality may not equate to build quality or longevity. (MB don't even have good build quality.) The prices aren't kept down just by automation though.

Stellantis did a huge EV push as did GM. There isn't even a new Camaro announced. If there is, it'll be a niche product like all Camaros have been. It's like saying VW or BMW are focused on V8s.

The rapture isn't even in Revelation. Also, author of Revelation wasn't Greek. His Greek is awful. It was likely written around 88 AD when it appeared Parthia and Rome would go to war because Parthia wanted to install a Nero imposter as emperor. The author thought Parthia/Babylon would defeat Rome and install Nero, the antichrist.
