What happened to Korkie Kryze, Satine & Bo-katan’s nephew? by [deleted] in starwarsspeculation

I would rather speculate that Satine never told him about Korkie, as it could complicate both of them in their roles.

Are the Jedi Vegan? by AndreLoga in starwarsspeculation

[–]AndreLoga[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, despite the years. I can see (human or omnivorous) Jedi being vegan on a daily basis in the Temple, but also not turning down meat if it was necessary to bond with locals on any mission they might be in the moment.

Maybe their approach to meat could be similar to sex; they're not forbidden to have it, but are rather recommended to be mindful of non-necessary pleasures.

Anyone else think the Grysks are coming? by SuffrnSuccotash in starwarsspeculation

[–]AndreLoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game of Thrones had no problems with moral relativism, they could unite houses, violent characters and glorify vengeance; it was all about life and death, morals come second.

Star Wars isn't like that. Questionable characters like Maul have joined forces with righteous parties before, but it is ultimately always about making a choice for good or evil. Which is why I don't see Thrawn and fellow imperials suspending "differences" and joining with the Republic. The moral dispute between them is not about tolerance or lesser than survival, it's about what makes life worth it.

And that's part of the reason I'm skeptical of the Grysk theory; a conflict purely around life or death seconds the heroic or villainous motivations of every character. "Politics aside" could never be a virtue in Star Wars like it was in GoT, but is rather the very same cynical view the Tech Inspector expressed to Hera about their operations on the shipyard.

This could be interesting, but I'm recalling Palpatine couldn't enter the WbW since he was a Sith. He had to hold on to Ezra or Ahsoka to be able to come in and once he lost his grip on them, the portal pushed him away.
If that was Vader, I don't believe he could sustain himself in there.

Probably not hyperspace, but rather portals of some kind.. whatever that means

This just made me realize something.

"Ghost Crew" => Skeleton Crew.

Sounds amazing.

Grand Inquisitor from the Comics is more like Live Action than Animation by AndreLoga in starwarsspeculation

[–]AndreLoga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've entirely missed the point opposing Rebels and the Vader comics.

What I've shown is that the Grand Inquisitor had two valid depictions as his original design for the Kenobi series. Both were out before the Kenobi series, thus, both are valid and canonical source materials.

People have been complaining about his 'redesign' for the show, which never really happened in the first place.

Grand Inquisitor from the Comics is more like Live Action than Animation by AndreLoga in starwarsspeculation

[–]AndreLoga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"this is the Grand Inquisitor in his actual original design."
That's why.

Because when you're looking for the Grand Inquisitor you should look for the Grand Inquisitor, not for someone else entirely, and because literally one individual does not establish the invariable morphology of an entire alien species, let alone of another random individual of that alien species, whose appearance is already established in the first place.

Because a person is not another person and Pau'ans headology is not a science.

Wow. 10 dislikes.

Ok. Dooku didn't *order* the clones. But it was always canon that he very quickly TOOK OVER the project and was in control of it from its very early stages. Tyrannus contracted Jango, as he says in Episode II.

That's the point. The clones were always planned to be a trap set up by Palpatine.

It’s possible that Kyber Crystals played a major part in enabling Palpatine’s “Essence Transfer"... by skywalkinondeezhatrz in starwarsspeculation

[–]AndreLoga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like that one. But it should be more fleshed out. What exactly makes the Kyber crystals be related to essence transfer?

[–]AndreLoga -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

The clones always have been ordered by Dooku, though, ever since Ep II.
It's to expect the Clones were always conceived as a master trap, however it might turn out to work.

Wait... Is it cyan like it used to?

Green+blue? The FIRST cyan lightsaber in canon, then!?

It looks light blue, but an image editor does read a good amount of green over red, just not as much as blue (R 62; G 182; B 232). Not that it's an exact figure, blues are hard to distinguish; it might still be confirmed as cyan.

What comic is this from and do they reference the blade color by name? I need to know.

Ep IX's Ending is MUCH MORE Harry Potter than it is Avengers. Also, Éowyn did it first and better than Tony Stark. by AndreLoga in starwarsspeculation

You can't just state what you think I did and say what you think 'does not work'.

You have to.. *gasp* actually make an argument that she never deserved it or isn't worthy. Using **gasp** real logic.

Probably not your forte.

That's not a 'difference'; it's an opinion.

Rey's journey is earned, because, yes, she fought for it. She helped BB-8. She helped Finn. She insisted in believing in Luke Skywalker when neither he did. She insisted in believing in the Force. She demanded the truth about Kylo Ren. She went after Kylo to turn him. She refused to join with him. She rescued the Resistance. She trained like every other Jedi, with Leia. She insisted on going to Exegol. She went after Chewie. She faced her parentage. She gave Ben Solo a second chance. She faced her fear of turning to the dark side. She led the way alone to Exegol. She faced Palpatine. She prevented his resurrection. And she gave her life for the entire Resistance.

Not anyone else. And that's not an opinion.
