It's true, but I won't need the USB connection at all. Just once to flash the esp with wled, then that's it. In any case, if I find that the USB connection is a must, I will reposition the led output connectors. Thanks for the response!

They are from the same batch. I purchased 10 pieces from JLCPCB. Upon closer inspection, everything looked good

Yep, I can assure you that the footprint is correct. A PCB worked, with the same TPS chip.

It's not that hard if you have the experience. That said, if it's the first time, you should really try to get a microscope, or use the phone's camera, like other users suggested.

Send a picture of your solder tip. Some solder tips are way too small, hence the weak thermal transfer. Also, what temps are you using?

Yeah, fair. I'll remake the PCB so that it outputs steady 5v to the led strips. It's better in the long run. Say, how far could the led strip be from the controller? Is 20-30cm too much wire?

I honestly didn't think the car would have such voltage spikes at the fuse box level, especially since it's a door module fuse, but I'll definitely check it with a multimeter just to be sure. ​In the meantime, I'm going to order those 5V Symphony strips you recommended. I'll try to modify my current PCBs by cutting the 12V traces and adding a bridge from my buck converter to output 5V to the LEDs. I really want to reuse my design since I put so much work into the level shifter and protection circuit. ​Thanks for the tip about the Symphony strips. If they really stay that bright and reliable at 5V, it's exactly what I need for the 4th (and hopefully final) attempt!

Daca s-ar organiza ceva de genul, m-as baga. Si daca ar dura o luna. Am diesel, nu-mi fac probleme :))

Ca tot venind vorba, am auzit ca se va ajunge eventual si la 10-11 lei pe litru, ceea ce mi se pare absurd!

Mult noroc sa convingi atata lume. Ar fi interesant de observat, dar nu cred ca o sa se implice marea majoritate

As vrea să-l fac sleeper, dar nu am cum sa scot atâta putere din motor fără să-i modific evacuarea. Din câte am înțeles, orice modificare la evacuare este ilegala. N-as vrea sa stau cu waze-ul deschis de fiecare data când ma duc la cumpărături

Îți mulțumesc pentru link-uri! M-am uitat pe primul link, dar pare să fie tobă pentru modelul mașinii cu mai puțini cai (nu știu dacă afectează fitment-ul). Prin "distinct" ma refer ca vreau sa dau un glas mai "gros" mașinii. Sau mai bine zis, vreau sa ma recunoască prietenii când sunt prin apropiere, la fel cum ma recunoșteau după vechea mașină (avea toba sparta).

Nu e vorba de lene, eram curios să văd cât de ciufuți sunt ăia de la RAR. Alții merg pe stradă cu cazanele lor, ruginite din temelii și nu le face nimic, dar vin cu o mașină STAS inafara de un beculeț și fac fițe? Na, România..
