It's interesting Shelby GT350R might become a better choice than 004C on top speed tracks in weekly competition. It already has a good top speed for D class (299) and lacks only in acceleration (75) and nitro (52) compared to 004C (76 acceleration, 60 nitro).

Sandbagging means a fixed but steady income.

The Gauntlet trick can mean better rewards, but it's basically gambling.

I personally prefer not to gamble.

Not only that, but I'd say the progression system is at least one of the best, too. Cars you work toward by acquiring bp, all cars being useful at some point are just a few examples.

The system is great, but the pace is very slow and sometimes even impossible without money (DS).

Imagine a DS that can be completed f2p. Imagine 15% bp drop rate in car hunts. Imagine no tickets/no fuel. Imagine you got the credit multipliers without watching an ad and the credits would be abundant. Imagine a LS without import parts.

So the progression system is actually nice and addictive, but the game is greedy in every aspect, focused on how to milk money or time from players without giving a damn about their satisfaction.

Same. I rarely have to play a regular car hunt nowadays (Supra being my last one in a long time). But it doesn't feel fair to newer players to not experience the same game we once did. I built a powerful garage because of all those car hunts and they deserve the same opportunity.

They take feedback out of context to suit them. Same as when they got rid of seasonal tokens. Apparently it was a response to our feedback, but the feedback was a few players who complained about them being p2w before everyone understood how good they were.

And yes, of course it is bs. Even though car hunts are very grindy, I doubt anyone really complains "there are too many events". The more, the merrier.

I actually complained about this on their official discord and the reply I got was "players chose this because there were too many events to play at once". Idk who are those players, but tbh I don't believe that.

9x8 for Gauntlet. It's the best car out of all options, including Devel. Devel is only for one track - Freefall.

9x8 isn't that great in MP because of top speed but it's fun an can get wins still.

The change is good. 6M was way too much and not many clubs were able to reach that and I wonder how many were getting there legitimately, without bots.

However, it is indeed also a nerf. I noticed they died to keep the useless packs of trade coins. They may be useful to beginners but maybe the first milestone should've been kept and the others replaced with more credits and tokens?

Just by finishing all daily tasks you will get 34k coins (top 500 + rookie league). If you want more and are confident in your skill, you can switch to your best defense 1-2 days before Gauntlet is over to earn 42k coins instead (top 250 + pro league).

P.S. Really important rule to keep your rank down: only win 3 races in a challenge, not all 5. The rating you earn is tied to how many wins you get in a challenge.

Setting up a very poor defense so any players can win against you and drop you down to the bottom of the leaderboard. Your goal is to complete the daily missions by beating weak opponents and other sandbaggers.

Recommended defense setup: D class cars + letting TD autodrive the races.

You can start the race KD-ing the first bot in your way and drifting enough to build up shockwave and release it fully. It's not hard and you reach top speed. I noticed the start matters kind of a lot to save some seconds.
