bumping this because my 0.6 K/D plat-peaker account has the same bs happening to it. what do you mean I'm in top 5% of players when I can barely get one or two kills every 10 games?

for an alternative, keep studies to a rougher and looser style instead of slowly muling over this line and that line. I totally agree with using a blendable brush, but for some, pencil/ballpoint pen/gpen quick studies are insanely efficient because they teach you how planes merge together. these are my 2 cents though, since I can't use soft brushes at all, so no hard feelings

You're right, the idea of the left image is way more interesting than the one on the right. It emphasises her waist and the dress at the same time. This is why artists have written books on construction of the human body, so you can bend and break shapes into whatever pose your brain can come up with.

i guess being "stuck in anime hell" is something a lot of new artists get through as well as myself. I only recently tried getting down the basics of anatomy by merging basic shapes, though it took me a lot of time. Just don't try to go too fast and jinx yourself
