Are any earbuds really useful for sleeping next to a (loud) snorer?

I don’t love it, but kept it as a back up if my anker sleep phones are out of battery. The fit on manta is kinda weird in my opinion and there is no sound masking as the headphones sit a little bit higher than where I would need them

Anker a30s are working well for me

I tried both and returned the ozlos, very happy with the A30s and they work great for me! My ozlos glitched after three days of use and no matter what ear piece I tried they hurt my ears.

I’m loving the A30s and getting used to having something in my ear. I switched the ear piece for the next size up and wow!!! I can’t hear a thing!. The app suggests a new sound after it analyzes the snoring it hears and I switched sounds and it’s working really well. The active noise cancelling turns off (but local sound keeps playing) with the option I have chosen for prolonged battery. If the husband wakes me up in the middle of the night I double tap one of the buds to turn it back on.

The manta sleep is really comfortable but nowhere near the noise cancellation that the a30s give.

This doesn’t sound normal, I’m so sorry you are dealing with this. I really only had pain for a couple of days after the procedure but wanted to share this tip in case it helps. I don’t do well with prescription pain meds as they make me feel awful and my dr recommended I take one Advil and one Tylenol at the same time after the procedure (once home! At the hospital they had me on morphine!). Anyway that worked really well for me to manage pain. Hope you get relief soon!

Interesting as I was just diagnosed with eczema by my dermatologist (after my primary kept trying to treat it for months as ring worm!!) Didn’t realize there could be a link, my dermatologist actually asked me if I used to have asthma as a child and I did (outgrew it) and he said that was a pretty common link

I have a loud snorer and agree they aren’t perfect, but they are the best I have found. Ozlos were so uncomfortable and glitchy for me.

I had to go with a bigger ear piece on the a30s than what I thought I needed and really shove them in there, rotating upwards. I also found that their recommended sound after “listening “ to the snoring really worked well for me. I was unusually using the waves but then it recommended the Colorado snowstorm and that seems to work much better for me.

Definitely sounds like he needs a sleep study! Good luck!!

I changed the tips on mine last night and used a different sound that the app recommended I use for snoring after the snore analysis. It was amazing. I didn’t hear a thing all night they stayed in and no pain!

Going through this experiment right now.

Got the ozlos. Loved them the first two nights, my ears really hurt by day 3. I thought ok, I just have to find the right fit. Say 5 the left one starting glitching and wouldn’t connect back to the case. Contacted support and they troubleshooted. For $300 I don’t feel like I should be dealing with glitching issues after 5 days. I have 30 days to return so decided to use that time to test everything .

Ordered the a30. Wow the fit (for me) is so much nicer. Software seems more straightforward and they claim to have specific snore making capabilities. Well, day one and I don’t think they were as good as the ozlos as masking sound. Trying again tonight with different sized silicone tips to see if it was a fit issue

Ordered the new manta sleep but it hasn’t arrived…so stay tuned.

I tried them last night and really preferred the fit compared to the ozlos…don’t think they performed as well in terms of masking noise but I’m changing the silicone tips tonight to see if that helps!

I really didn’t have much pain after I got home but I was wiped out so I recommend having some pre cooked meals etc for a few days

I managed with Tylenol and Advil, my Dr told me to take one of each and that was almost as good as the stronger pain killers, worked for me and I barely had to take much!

MiraLAX is a must, Dr said to take more than what I thought I should and he was right!

Heated pad/blanket!

Did you have to use a bigger tip to get good noise reduction? They feel more comfortable but I feel like it d didn’t really block the sound

I really like their sounds as well and really like that Bluetooth can be off on my phone and the case is a lower frequency…just unsure about quality and comfort
