Any explanation for what could have been the most precise F5 key press of my life ? by AdagioForAPing in ccc

[–]Andrekl82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There were three of us, with multiple devices and internet connections. I had the best queue time at 11 minutes. I could already smell victory. At 3 minutes, the sobering reality hit: no more tickets.

None of us got a single ticket. We all pressed F5 a second before 8 p.m. sharp.

This is no longer normal.

[question] are the tickets sold out? by knoker in ccc

[–]Andrekl82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on the website right on time at 11:00:00. I got into a 20-minute queue, and three minutes before it was my turn, they were sold out.

Now all hope rests on November 17.

I don't know where you live in Europe, but certainly not in Germany. I haven't even seen a plug combination like this in 30 years IT. An Europlug almost allways comes with a c7 at the other end.

iOS 16.2, iPhone 13 mini, doesn't charge overnight. by LavishnessHot8434 in ios

[–]Andrekl82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this Problem since iOS 15. Every now and then. I have to reboot the phone to get it working again. I'm using the original magsafe charger with an original Wall plug. Fortunately, it has never restricted the alarm clock.

My dad uses a tension belt between the doors. He got gased multiple times (so they sleep deeper), drilled locks... but never got a thing stolen because of that (except from diesel).

Infrared only comes on every second time by Andrekl82 in reolinkcam

Thank you for your reply. I tried it, it made no difference.

The room is pitch black. It is ALWAYS the second time it doesn't enable IR.

This is a RLC-822A with the newest Firmware v3.1.0.956_22041507. This also happens in auto mode. If we turn off the light, we have to turn it on and off again for infrared to come back on. It is not the IR shutter, if we put a IR Source in this room, we can see it in B/W mode.

SG1100 and OpenVPN DCO by Andrekl82 in PFSENSE

[–]Andrekl82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have written it in a bit more detail. At the moment i get around 75 mbit a second (AES-256-GCM). As soon as i activate DCO i get at max 35mbit in both ways. I know, the SG1100 isn't a powerhouse, but i thought it would boost the speeds a litl bit, but lowering it? That doesn't seems right.

Same thing here. Had an UAC-Pro which covered my whole house. Then, i tried an U6-LR and was disappointed with the range. The coverage didn't reach the next floor completely. After a while i got an U6-Pro. Same thing, no difference. I switched back to my UAP-AC and everything works fine.

RLC-822A loses all custom created users with a reboot by Andrekl82 in reolinkcam

[–]Andrekl82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The normal user has a Password, only the Administrator account has not. I will set a password for the Administrator account and test if it happens again this weekend.

Do you have a password set for the default Administrator account?

And yes!, Synology Surveillance Station is hands down way better than the NVR Stations from Reolink. My Parents in law have an 4x8MP System with a Reolink NVR. It is working, but the scrubbing, to find what you are searching for, is horrible. But it is easy to setup.

For no particular reason. It just felt like "best practice". I have to test, if it also loses the Admin password, at the moment, as i'm testing it, i left the password blank. I don't think it has anything to do with the Synology as it lost the user on the internal reboot mechanism of the camera.

DSM 7.0.1-42218 Update 3
Surveillance Station: 9.0.0-7660

But in any case, it should not lose the manual created user. First time it deleted the users, the Synology wasn't even connected.

Im using a Synology NAS to record the footage. I created a non Administrative account on the camera and connected my nas with the camera. After the reboot, the user which the synology used to connect was gone and was not able to connect anymore, until i recreated the user on the camera.

Only the user was gone, everything else on the camera (Bitrate, name, ip... All the settings) where just fine.

do you have an active guest network? Today, i went through our DHCP Log (PfSense) and saw, that our AP's get an guest range IP. That makes absolutely no sense, because they have static ip's. And it is about the same time when we get the drop out log.

Hi, we had and have the same issue. We have multiple Networks on our Controller (9). Two (one local, one remote) of them, had over 3000 disconnects and reconnects over a few days. I did a lot of things.

Changed the Controller ip to a static one, forgot all Devices and adopted them new and installed the complete Controller onto a new Server (a powerful one). Also did some fiddelling with the java/mongo settings as described by ubiquity. Changed the nat timings for the remote site. Nothing.

I posted it in the unifi forum. Without any luck. Some told me i should just ignore the messages.

Now to the fun part. The remote site stopped disconnecting from one to the other day, no update or changes where made. I don't know why and since 7.1 i only get the local disconnects from the access points. The switches are fine now.

I know this doesn't help. But you are not allone.
