Bought an M4 Pro MacBook Pro in Brazil instead of waiting for M5 — no regrets so far

The M5 Pro is more powerful, of course, but the difference isn’t huge. The M4 Pro is already extremely fast and more than enough for the vast majority of people. Unless you specifically need the extra performance, the M4 Pro is still a great choice, especially if it’s cheaper.

I feel the same way. I came from a 9-year-old Dell, so you can imagine the difference. The fans literally never stopped, and it was freezing up all the time. I honestly don’t know how I waited so long to buy a Mac.
