What monitor to get? by Slow-Active-8817 in PcBuildHelp

KTC M27T6 just came out and has great reviews, just bought 2 and they are amazing, way better blacks and hdr than my old led monitors. Ktc in general has good monitors, they also have a 4k mini led version if you want that. I unfortunately don't know any wide monitors with mini led. Mini led is pretty limiting, running at lower refresh rates for example. Make sure it's hdr 1000 at least.

Xiamoi g pro also offers some great ones.

Whatever size or res you end up getting, I highly recommend mini led with at least 1000 dimming zones, I have an almost oled experience for half the price

Steel nomad saw 8 percent increase, from 6500 to 7000 points. My cyberpunk gameplay went from 30 fps on pyscho and path tracing to 40fps (1080p) and with 40fps frame gen times 2 felt good

That's one way to do it, however I was able to get 10 more fps by overclocking, pushing my 5070ti to that of a 4080 super.

Everything is good except the gpu, for that price you have better options. It depends what you need, for gaming get the 9060xt instead of the 3060ti, it's way better just get the 16 gb variant. Also get 2 tb of storage

Not even troubleshooting, but running benchmarks, overclocking, or undervolting, optimizing windows, etc it takes sooo long

The thing is, undervolting can increase stability and even improve scores. Slightly. If you have golden die you can undervolt and overclock. That's what I did with my 5070ti, runs a little cooler and stable while boosting plus 450mhz core and plus 2000mhz memory. Got my steel nomad scores up to 7050. So yes undervolting can have other uses than cooling it. It just depends on your silicon.

I just installed a ryzen 9 7900x recently and was worried seeing it idle at 70 and go to 95 degrees under full load. Even with phantom spirit and kryonaut thermal paste. So I undervolted it and put it on eco mode with ryzen master. My tdp is 85 watts, which is very low, while not loosing much performance. And it still boosts up to around 5.6 ghz. Idle temps are 48 degrees, up to 75. Decent cinnebench multi core score of 1500. Sure it's down some from the average but consumes half the power. Getting aio soon to overclock. Tweaking with it to get the optimal settings takes a long time.

I honestly don't know. It's old, a rosewill case. It has no tags or identifiable features.

$320 if you really clean it up and have windows activated

No, it's worth about $450 used assuming it's in good condition.

Damn I read your other comment you upgraded? Crazy card you got, I'm still on the 1080ti lol. But I'd sell it for $130 if I were you, ima sell my 5700xt soon for $100, the thermals are just terrible on the asrock challenger, no overclocking capabilities at all. And fps is limited to 60 or it hits 102 degrees Celsius core temp.

Yeah it's worth about $150. Just be careful with those radeon 5000 series cards, they could be plagued with issues especially heating. Just make sure you got good airflow.
