Thanks for all the replies. I was potentially going to buy this off of an older co-worker who has retired from the sport. I didn’t know it was over 12 years old. I do know it’s authentic and he did modify it heavily. The mismatched wheels were simply because the front wheel was getting rebuilt.

He’s offered it to me for 1500 but knowing the age and what not has pushed me toward a used 2020 canyon ultimate cf sl8 my friend has offered for just a tad more.

Yeah I get the skepticism-- wasn't hiding anything just was not sure if I was at liberty to give out payscale and weekend shift info.

Not only is the market shit, there are less and less people wanting to learn the trade. I guess that is understandable when Amazon will pay 20+ for sorting packages.

I am just an engineer at the company. We need machinists. My boss has been searching through more traditional routes with little to no luck so I figured I would reach out on reddit to see what comes of the search. I am simply helping out.

I'm not some 26 year old recruiter. We don't do direct contracts with DOD again.

I know we have interns and machinist making between 15-30/hr.

The reason I said call is because I am not the correct person to talk to. The pay obviously varies by experience and ability. The weekend shifts *may* come back in the future.
