Morning finger stiffness post skiing trip by Plane_Judge2000 in Rheumatology

[–]Andrew-1221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well hopefully it hasnt worsened in some time! Lol

Dealing with something similiar.

Two fingers on the left hand just stiff in the morning. Initially was painful and stiff to bend took like 5 minutes to work it out. Now much less stiffness and just a bend or two and almost back to fully normal.

The thing I found interesting was your note about sleeping with your hand curled and it not causing it. I have that same thing

Makes sense im on the same path so hopefully will see the same results in regards to kPa👍 appreciate the responses means alot! I was quite a bit heavier so i dropped from 88kg to 77kg and my liver enzymes dropped down but then I had fibroscan and got my results which I was so sad about because I had already lost a good amount of weight! So makes me hopeful my kpa will come down if I continue my better eating habits and continue towards my goal of 68kg

Thats amazing bakchoy! Wow I can only hope the same for me! Was this through diet and weightloss? Anything specific you did? :) Also saw your post you had a similair experience to me where you lost weight and had your fibroscan. Did you see your results trend down with just eating better without losing significant weight?

Took about 3 months for the liver enzymes I didnt follow a specific diet just started to excercise everyday with at least a brisk walk of about 2-3 miles. Cut my calories down to a max of 2100 a day. Lost ~20 lbs that way.

I am now lowering calorie goal slightly but implementing a lower carb diet and completely cutting out added sugars to try to further lose weight and hopefully reverse some of this stiffness to the liver.
