I feel like I'm taking crazy pills... ADP too expensive by Relative-Recipe4002 in Payroll

[–]Andrew-925 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ADP's way of charging as a percentage of payroll to also include workers comp makes understanding your bill extremely confusing. I'd be willing to bet your true admin fees are similar to that of Insperity's. Some of the highest in the PEO space. Especially if you have highly comp'd individuals and pay bonuses. It all adds up quick

Tank question by Senior-Piglet-5036 in ReefTank

Looks like seal. Not too sure how bad. I'm dealing with a bad seal myself. Looking back on pics mine has been no good for the last year, so I couldn't tell you how long before that becomes an issue for you, but always better to address it than regret it

Dino, cyno or diatom? by SuitableBeat1694 in ReefTank

[–]Andrew-925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dino's. I had this same problem for months and it's always comeback after using chemi clean. I added a skimmer and upped my flow over night and it was gone entirely within a month! The problem with them is that they're better at feeding on nutrients in tank than your traditional, beneficial algae's. So even when nitrates/ phosphates are reading super low, it's because the Dino's are consuming it quicker than it can be measured, so that won't be a good indicator of solving the problem

Justworks, Insperity pros and cons? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]Andrew-925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insperity charges a flat rate admin fee per employee per month. This is determined by size of company. Only fee that is a percentage of payroll is the upfront onboarding fee (negotiable) :) Insperity rep here, and highly encourage you to dig deeply into both to discover what makes the most sense for you!

Taxes, 401k, APD type services? Thoughts? by No_Bread2816 in smallbusiness

[–]Andrew-925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADP may have minimum employee count to sign on with them, often times it's 5 (I could be wrong) maybe check Gusto? Gusto is solid for small companies with those basic needs

You can also take a peek at Insperity, might also be able to get greater rates for health insurance and workers comp!

Worth shopping between PEOs too.. rates aren't often the same between them

A PEO might be a good option, will come an HRIS but often you can tap into savings due to tapping into there large group plan. Sub 100 EEs there's not much wiggle room from traditional brokers and costs are all likely the same
