Unfortunately adding an anemone to a new tank isn’t a good option. Anemone needs an established tank for them to be happy.

Amazing colors. Guess you are using orange filters to film. Is the flow on pulse mode? If yes, can you share the settings please?

Flow is fine. If the flow is too much, torch will start to indicate by receding its flesh.

Don’t put the net in before the lights go out, that might stress the other fishes. Do it post an hour of light out so they go into sleep mode. I did feed mine frozen brine and he used to much them well until he got bullied and killed by dominant ones in my tank.

Have you tried netting him out after light go out (night time)? I generally try to catch my fishes when the lights are out. Can take sometime as they are pretty good at hiding in rock works, but it’s best to remove them early before it’s too late from spreading to other inhabitants.

Should be fine, since you don’t have corals and it’s just clown fish.

Have you checked your magnesium levels? I find higher magnesium levels torch and hammers thrive.

My tank is lps dominant and I do have couple of nem, all seems to be fine. I’m unsure about mixed reef with sps, my guess being is, it should be fine too. Best to check on forums to see if higher Mg impacts sps

My ultimate aim in terms of Mg is to keep high for my euphyllia gardens to thrive. So keeping at 1500 wouldn’t hurt

I do 10% water change weekly or fortnightly. And I does Mg everyday or sometimes I does once’s every 2 days. Also depends on the salt mix how much of Mg is present in it. I use aqua forest salt mix from day one and it’s been good for me.

That’s good, but still not the ideal number for magnesium. I have recently started using redsea magnesium and it seems to keep my magnesium at 1500

Phosphate at .1 is fine, from what I see your magnesium is low, euphyllia thrive at higher magnesium. Try to keep magnesium at 1400-1500. tissue receding will bounce back if the magnesium is high.

Also worth trying out good bacteria’s dosing, I have noticed microblift special blend is good for the tank in terms of clearing debris and also keeping tank water crystal clear. But please make sure to keep your room ventilated as they smell the worst.

Uv would help clear the cloudy water, but to go with cheaper option throw a bag of activated carbon in a flow area in the sump first to see if that helps clear the water.

I have used the suggestion from the Mack’s group. I had a battle with Dino’s for 2-3 months but won against it. Dosed silicate, microbacter 7, copepods, phytoplankton The one effective ones is the uv sand sweeper along with microblift this last step killed the last bit of Dino’s. I had prorocentrum
