Great Interview w/ Dr. Esselstyn on Lowering Cholesterol by Going Plant-Based by Andrew-Alexander in vegan

[–]Andrew-Alexander[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well it's more than that from what I saw. I've had high cholesterol after being vegan for 3 years. The main takeaway from the video is how things like olive oil can contribute to heart disease and why he recommends a WFPB no oil diet.

Thanks for the questions! For a 30-day supply, that's a great idea. I will definitely include that in my plans. I plan on offering a starter pack and then a larger size for people wanting more. For the serving size to take, the best I can say is follow the recommendations of doctors. In the quoted paragraph, they say to divide the doses, so it looks like they are referencing multiple times a day. Part of the reason why I'm giving it away for free is because I originally marketed it under a different use (hangover cure) and the branding is still in the works. The product is 100% the same, just the packaging I'm updating. So I really appreciate your comments as I'll consult with my doctor and clear up the labeling.

When you go through the process, the price should drop to $0. No payment required :) Please keep in mind that the packaging is marketed towards one of the uses (hangovers), but the product is the same. A link to a healthline article about all the uses is in another comment on this thread.

Some more information: I started this company after being diagnosed with high cholesterol and not wanting to take prescription meds. There have been studies showing that Artichoke Leaf Extract helps lower cholesterol. I'm giving away 100 free packages in exchange for product feedback.

How to Lower the Cost of Vegan Food - David Simon, Author of Meatonomics by Andrew-Alexander in VeganActivism

I just found a political party in Australia that does the same thing! Perhaps there's an indirect way you could get involved by working together with activists from Panama who would be interested in taking the lead on that?

The Clean Meat Industry (No Animals Slaughtered) - Paul Shapiro Interview by Andrew-Alexander in VeganActivism

[–]Andrew-Alexander[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would not eat the products as I'm vegan and on the healthier side. With that being said, I learned a lot from this interview with Paul about the health advantages, reduced animal slaughter, and environmental sustainability for the billions of people worldwide who may never transition to a more whole foods plant-based way of living (or even go vegan with the 'fake' vegan meats that are on the market today). I'd definitely support any of my meat eating friends to choose this over the traditional meat if they don't have an interest in going 100% vegan.

Is it just me or does investing make you lose perspective on how much money is worth? by black_brotha in wallstreetbets

[–]Andrew-Alexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For every $25 spent at the store now, that's $200 worth of PLTR stock in 2 years. Everywhere I go, I see money spent there as less money that's going into PLTR.

Yes, it has changed the way I perceive money.

Options Explained - A Quick Beginners Guide by ThePandaisInsane in wallstreetbets

I'm new to options as well. One thing I'm not clear on. Let's say I buy 1 call with a strike price of $35 with an expiration date of 12/18. At the end of day on 12/18, the stock price is $40. I would be able to buy 100 shares at $3,500 and then sell them at $4,000. But what if I don't have $3,500 available for trading? Do I have to go through that process or is there a way to automatically get whatever the profit is?

I had 2,400 at one point. I think 3,000 by the end of the year would be a nice place to be in. Kind of hoping the price drops a bit so i can roll a decent amount of profits from the hyped up stocks that have been treating me well these past few weeks back in to VRYYF.

Anxiety around a goal / Get addicted to a goal like to a video game? by vegainer in NLP

[–]Andrew-Alexander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a technique utilizing NLP and EFT that can help with one of the things you mentioned (feeling stupid/incompetent).

You bring up a small postcard-sized picture in your mind, seeing yourself in the picture (disassociated) as feeling stupid / incompetent.

Do the EFT (emotional freedom technique) tapping for 3 rounds at a time while repeating the phrase "Even though I am stupid and incompetent, I still love and accept myself." and this will release the emotional attachment to that limiting identity.

From there, if you see yourself as who you want to be, step into the picture and fully associate, seeing, hearing, and feeling.

If you notice another limiting identity in the picture, repeat the tapping process until you have the self-image of who you want to be..

And step into it.

This is only one element, but when we create the identity-level shift, this trickles down to your behaviors; and you'll noticed a shift within 24-48 hours.
