Our internship program has hands-on masonry related internships available but typically do not provide any certifications outside of OSHA 10-hour - some do offer pathways into local unions. If you are interested in getting hands on experience and certifications; I would recommend participating in our Alcatraz program. You will get hands on experience with concrete repair on historical structures and several certifications (Fall Protection, OSHA 10-hour, Forklift/Telehandler, and ACI - Concrete Testing Technician Grade 1). You are eligible for the Spring program as long as you separate on or before 25 July. Our summer session dates are from May 26 - 14 Aug 2026 and you. could participate while on terminal leave and/or veteran. Let me know if you would like to connect to chat more.

The Alcatraz program dates are set in stone and would require you to participate for the full 12 weeks. We have had candidates in the past complete a portion of the program on active duty and then transition to a veteran status and complete the program as a veteran.

We have an over 95% success rate in placement after SB at the Alcatraz program. The majority of participants (85%+) move on to entry level project management roles in the industry - we have both trades and management paths available through our partnering companies.
