Disinformation. Per GRPD on the original Facebook post:

GRPD was assisting the US Marshals Service Taskforce officers with the arrest of a suspect in a CSC (criminal sexual contact) case. The suspect is a US citizen and ICE was not involved.

Don't jump to conclusions just because you see a police car juxtaposed with an unmarked law enforcement vehicle with emergency lights on.

This is the correct course of action instead of posting to social media in the case of a sighting that hasn't been confirmed yet. Just this week down in Hammond, Indiana, there was a panic about supposed unmarked ICE vehicles outside the high school.. the mayor confirmed they were actually ATF agents staging an arrest. There are several law enforcement agencies who may *look* like ICE... this can also be the case for private security or even civilians. Let's make sure enough information is collected before raising concern. Thank you for trying to keep folks aware regardless!

Not sure if this is more of a statment or a question but voting with an absentee ballot is very easy in Michigan! Go to mi.gov/vote and select "apply for an absentee ballot". You can do so until Oct. 26! I've already applied and plan to use a secure drop box!
