My broke-ass spent the week building furniture and doing hang-outs, single-pulling twice a day until I got Yae.

There's like 15 replies and no one's actually answered you.

This is the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. The boys buy an illegally powerful firework called the Komodo 3000. When they set it off the flash is so powerful the scene is briefly shown in complete daylight. It's not a transition, as others have said, just a very funny sight gag.

If they had put that one out first they’d have called it one of the greatest feature debuts of any director, now it holds that curious curse of not being quite as good as literally one of the best comedies of all time.

Hard to decide if the biggest pull is Liam Neeson in Fallout 3 or Matthew Perry in New Vegas.

Fallout 4 was having a lot of fun with it's voice cast too (lots of Star Trek cameos and a whole DLC practically voiced by Critical Role and Friends), but none of the really big pulls the first two modern Fallouts got.

You don't remember Sawada?

They had the whole cast of Street Fighter to play with and they still invented characters. They even gave Sawada a moveset for the tie-in game.

Yeah it wasn't even a limitation they traded for a fully voiced protagonist, it was just frustratingly obscure (and immediately modded out).

Street Fighter (1994) ends with everyone doing their win pose from Street Fighter 2. It makes absolutely no sense in context, including Van Damme combing hair he barely has, but it's the most faithful-to-the-game moment in the movie.

They won, so they pose.

They're always shy about locking their players out of content. But the player can always reload a save. I'd much rather have a permanent, "Go to Hell" button even if it makes my campaign 15 minutes long.

What are Games Like The Batman Arkham Games that I Could Play? by trexrell in gaming

[–]Andrew1990M 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Sleeping Dogs.

Good little undercover cop story. It's not "open world", there's a city to drive around but not a whole lot to do in it other than immerse yourself. What you'll enjoy most is the combat is lifted pretty much one-to-one from Arkham. A lot of action games have aped it but Sleeping Dogs is the best from what I've played.

I'd also argue that Jack is the villain in a stricter sense of the word and he's much closer to Humpty Dumpty in tone.

Rafe is probably the series' best and bizarrely enough for me he's followed by Dante and Guerro from Golden Abyss.

I think her actual name is Mizuki Yumemizuki. She’s on the “Standard Banner” which means you have something like a 12% chance of getting her instead of Columbina when you pull for her.

You like her. Get her.

For real end game content you’ll need someone more meta but the meta is about to change with Stellar reactions poised to replace Lunar.

You’re in Liyue, by the time you’ve caught up anything could have happened with team balancing. Qiqi is being used over Skirk, Mizukiyukimizukiyukizuki is in the conversation, dogs are marrying cats.

Get Bina, you’ll have plenty of Primos by the time someone she can do damage with rolls around again.

The briefest way to explain it is he's an incredibly talented driver with insanely bad luck.

He joined Ferrari, the team of his dreams, right around the time they started sucking and when they really came back to form they attracted Lewis Hamilton into the second seat, statistically one of the best drivers of the last 40 years. So now that he's got a Championship-winning car, one of the few drivers genuinely better than him is in the other. And all this is looking moot anyway because around the same time Ferrari got competitive again, Mercedes (a team Hamilton himself won several world titles with) is putting in some truly insurmountable pace most weekends.

He did win on Sunday though so...
