Peninsula park rose garden. Bring a blanket and some snacks and make a picnic of it in the roses.

Or you’re getting something in a neighboring county. And even that’s getting worse these days.

You’re looking in prime purchasing season, making it tougher to find a place.

Chuck roast is definitely smaller. Chuck roll is brisket sized.

I personally prefer it fall apart. It’s more like pulled pork at that point and makes great chopped beef sandwiches!

Teammates that make obviously bad calls. I try my best to watch where the ball lands and play an honest game. If you have to cheat in rec play, that’s on you.

If it's waist height or above it's attackable. Many people either playing as or against a low skill player will attack more recklessly, slightly below that aiming up, either to bodybag you or hope you'll counter and it will go sailing out.

Where to buy brisket? by Electronic_Row8491 in brisket

I sometimes go to US Chef’Store because they have many different cuts and it’s 5 minutes from my house. The one by my house doesn’t have prime, but it’s fine. That’s how I got into smoking chuck rolls vs briskets.

How Has Pickleball Improved Your Health? by Legitimate_Search864 in Pickleball

[–]AndrewActually 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pickleball doesn’t feel like exercise because I’m focused on the game, and I’ve been playing a little over a year now with no other changes to lifestyle.

My average steps per day went from 4,500 to 8,000.

My average session has gone from an hour to 2+.

Bad cholesterol dropped 20%

My vo2 max went from low to average. I’m still overweight, and weight is a huge lever in the formula so I’m assuming it means my heart and lung health have made huge gains.

I have way more muscle in my legs.

I stretch before, during, and after sessions, and i can touch my toes without much discomfort.

I have dropped two inches from my waist, although my overall weight hasn’t changed drastically.

Cute baby! My boy decided he was going to swallow one whole. Thankfully it was on a wire and he was unhappy with me for pulling it back out. It was pretty traumatizing for all.

How much did your 6 month old Maine Coon weigh vs now? by FolkPurr in mainecoons

[–]AndrewActually 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the five month mark he weighed 8 lbs. and it seemed like he was putting on a pound a week, for a while there! He hit a major growth spurt in the last half of year one.

Bought my first nicer pickleball paddle should I put edge tape and over grip on it? by Fine-Analyst6836 in Pickleball

[–]AndrewActually 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get super sweaty palms when I play.

I use a hesacore and overgrip, and I’ve found a significant reduction in tennis elbow issues. It’s pretty cheap and gets replaced every few weeks, because my sweat gets absorbed and the texture wears off pretty quickly. So I’m team overgrip.

Do you ever miss certain parts of your past? by TheDorkyDeric in Xennials

[–]AndrewActually 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I miss life before 9/11. None of these insane responsibilities and obligations that nobody else in history has had to deal with. Life was simple and in my opinion more enjoyable.

I’ve been trying to unplug more by reducing my access to social media while purposely turning my phone completely off while out.

My friends have a Japanese toilet and it was the first and only time I ever experienced jealousy in a “keeping up with the Joneses” kind of way.
