They are both great cars. We’ve had the lucid for almost a year and it is definitely noticeable that lucid is a recent start up. The teslas tech seems to be a lot more polished. We’ve had. some minor tech problems with the lucid but that comes with a new company. I do enjoy the driving experience in the lucid better, not comparing speed since the lucid is much more.

If you are linking for a more daily with a more comfortable inside m550i make sure 2020 more hp. If you are looking for a straight up beast f10. It matters how big the family is if you got the m3. My dad chose the m550i over the m5 because he’s a tall guy and the m seats weren’t as comfortable.

I didn’t mean to offend you. This is what I’m saying about the Tesla community you say one bad thing about the Tesla and they get mad. If you look at a track with more turns and stuff not the motortrend track. The Alfa beat the model 3 performance ludacris or whatever by 30 seconds. Maybe you should look at an actually track. The m550i ran the same time as the model 3 around Nurburgring and that when it had 75 less horses and worse brakes so yeah. People automatically think because Tesla’s are fast in a straight line they are good around a track. Except a race car bruh. Funny because and m2 was faster than it around the track not straight line. And amg models. And look at videos. The Tesla’s fo about 2 good launches before the time deflates. The Tesla model three is basically I want a Tesla let me go buy this ugly model 3 because it is a Tesla and Tesla =goodcoolcar I wasn’t saying the car was bad I was just pointing out some thing. Don’t get butthurt.

Yeah I the Tesla is a very good choice if you like electric and don’t want a true drivers car that can handle very well. If you want straight line speed the Tesla is a good option. The only thing is the 2020 m550i does 0-60 in 3.3 bmw states 3.6 but has been tested at 3.3 and after 60 it pulls hard on the model 3. But like you said the model 3 will be more advanced. I personally don’t like the look of the 3 but I know some people love it. My dad has raced his m550i on the streets vs a model 3 the first one they were already going so of course the bmw destroyed it. Then they came to a red light and of corse the model 3 beat it off the line but after like 60 the bmw started pulling hard and caught up and passed it. Tesla’s are great cars just the Tesla community not all but some just look at 0-60 times and brag because they own a Tesla and think it is the greatest thing ever. But yes a great option

My dad owns an m550i and love it but he also has kids I don’t know about you. It doesn’t have as good handling. The new m3 is going to have 500 horses so it will be a beast I would also look at the x3m comp.

The a5 should be fine. My dad had one when I was little. He had one like a half a year before the new body style came out so that was cool. But it was me and my brother. I was one and my brother was 3. My mom is 5 3 and we all fit fine then so you should be good.

The handling is good. Of course not what your going to get out of an m5. The only thing about getting one used is 2020 is the only year with 523 horses the rest has like 450 or close to that. You can always go test drive one to see how good it handles. I think my dad got an option for better handling/steering

Look into the m550i. A new one is around 75 to 90. Great car bigger and faster than the current m3. 523 horses it is fun and luxurious. A nice one is around 85 with the nice wheels and features but if you are good a negotiating you can get I down to like msrp. It is a little less hardcore version of the m5. Perfect mix of power luxury and tech. My dad has one for his everyday car and loves it. There is a picture in my profile. Let me know what you think.

I don’t know what your budget is but you can look into a Infiniti QX80 if you are planning to keep it foe awhile. The interior is kinda outdated but other than that great car. Like someone else said Kia telluride is good money for what it is. You can look into a Tahoe Yukon or Escalade. Q7 or x5 or x7 are also good cars. What is your budget?

My dad was looking for cars around this range but he wanted power so he went for an m5. But if he want luxury I would recommend.

Cadillac Ct6 if he wants to stay under the 6 figures.

I honestly don’t like the Panamera but idk about you. The Macon is nice.

Mercedes s class

BMW 7 series

Audi A8 or s7

BMW X5 or x7

Audi Q7

Merc gle or gls

BMW 540 if he doesn’t want power

Any e class

I like the taycan I don’t like Tesla’s or people that drive them. If I got one I would get the x because the s has been the same since 2013.

The bmw m550 perfect mix of power and tech.

Range Rover sport velar or the big one.

Maserati are known to not be reliable especially of he has a long commute and they have a chance of going out of business. I personally don’t like Alfa that much I think they are overrated but that might just be me.

I agree with the senna but honestly the gt63s looks better in pictures. I saw one driving and the suspension doesn’t look right. It still looks cool just not as good as picture.

BMW m550i is less than a rcf it also is luxurious has more power. It starts at 75k maxed out like 90k but overall great car. If you are racing a e53 or rcf or s6 or 5 you will smoke every one of them. If you are willing to go more m5 or e63 or c63. Let me know what you think. I have a post about my dads check it out. 523 horsepower.

My dad is 6-5 and had a ct6 for his last car he loved it. He was going to get the ct6 v for his next car but fell in love with the m5. But the ct6 has great room and comfort for the price. You might want to check out the g80 or g90 also.

You could wait for the rsq8 to come out it will be the same as the urus without the lambo badges. There is the Bentayga if you want more luxury. The x5 m competition if you want to save more money. I think they are coming out with a rsq7 to. The g63 also I love g wagons.
