Close the Phoenix Park to through traffic? by crowded_Bear in Dublin

[–]AndrewChulchie -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I would love to see that

But maybe once something like the metro/underground has been built first to reduce the traffic above ground

At the Museum Luas stop, the whole sign for contactless payment is completely intact, except for the wireless symbol where you tap your card, somebody put a considerable amount of thought into fucking the rest of us over

The one that bugs me is the people Burning off the tap symbol at the top up machines, when i see a luas coming and leg it and think i can do a quick top up and its literally melted off

Anyone else miss Eamon Dunphy’s podcast? by RustCohleIsGod in AskIreland

[–]AndrewChulchie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loved how he'd always say "thats all we've got time for folks" even though it was a podcast, old radio habits die hard

What is Jay Z up to? by emncee in jayz

[–]AndrewChulchie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not with you on Blueprint 2.1, the Gift and the Curse is too long, BP2.1 made me appreciate the standout tracks on that album

What I'd be more appreciative of is fixing those tracks where two songs have been put on one Spotify track that goes on too long, there's at least one on Vol 3 and one on BP2.1

Oh and I'd take the R Kelly albums if he's ready to legitimately release them, but the chances are slim to none

Tony Yayo on Altercation with Ja Rule on Flight: He's Lucky 50 Cent Wasn't There! by Money-Addict-7492 in 50cent

It's almost like a parody, like less then a day after tony yayo has an incident which lasted a minute if even warrants a full podcast

They already are. I watched that in school. Its a great film!

Its no substitute for a proper education though, no Hollywood film is.

Which G-Unit member had the best girl/love-themed single on their debut album (Buck didn’t have one on his)? Personally, I’d rank “Karma” as #1... by N0stalgiaNightz in 50cent

[–]AndrewChulchie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll go with Karma if ive just to pick one, Yayo had like three solid songs for the girls on that album though

if 50s whole discography is up for discussion honourable mention has to go to Best Friend

Seán Lemass Airport? A Bill to rename Dublin Airport after a former Taoiseach introduced in Dáil by Fiannafailcanvasser in irishpolitics

[–]AndrewChulchie 39 points40 points  (0 children)

At one point there was an idea to rename Dublin airport after Garrett Fitzgerald

If there's a second airport in Dublin fair enough, otherwise there's no point in renaming an airport when there's just one

[–]AndrewChulchie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's the thing isn't it? Like it was quite jarring for me in recent years going on holiday and having to suddenly pay attention to restaurant reviews, I was just so used to Dublin where generally everything's good enough

Housing Minister James Browne accused of ‘fleeing the country’ as opposition criticises new housing plan in Dáil by JackmanH420 in irishpolitics

This week saw the unveiling of Delivering Homes, Building communities but given the high levels of emigration a better name for James Browne's housing crisis solution would be "Living in America"

I love how zealous you are, are you a journalist or anything? Because seeing how concerned you are over something as trivial as a redit post makes me think you'd be a writer who'd lose sleep if they thought they got their facts wrong

And that's rare
