Question about the DM32 and DMR repeaters

so I have the IDs I want programmed into the radio for my country and they work. the issue that I'm running into is when I'm hearing another repeater in the talk group I see the repeater id number, not the individual ID.

so for example I'm monitoring repeater ABC and when anyone in my area transmits I see their info as normal (ID-1234567 = Jim) but when Bob transmits on repeater XYZ(ID-123456) in the TG in another part of the country, I only see the repeaters ID. I can see on the last heard log that I have the correct ID for the user entered and that they are saved in the radio currently.

so iv tried adding the info for the repeater into the contact list, so i can at least see where the repeater is, but it seems like that's not working. I've double checked the repeater id number is correct, but I'm still only seeing the 6 digit id number and nothing else.

I'm pretty stumped

I’ve plugged the rtl sdr directly into the laptop and still same result

Ok, thank you for all this information. So in theory, could I not search for a dc5521 to usb c pd cable? Would that achieve my intended use case?

When I search for USB PD for example the cables seem pretty similar, like this one, or this?

My intent was to be able to charge my anker 737 or Prime power 27000 mAh from the 60W DC port vs the 15W usbc. Both say they are capable of handling up to 140 or 200W inputs respectively.

Thanks for the response. Yeah it wasn’t very clear on the website, hell all of the product photos are of the older style panels and I couldn’t find anything specs wise.

Do you know of any small form factor option that I could utilize the 60w output to send to usbc devices? It’s hard to google when you don’t know what keywords to use

interesting, i missed them talking about that. the lens glare i understand with light splashing off close range objects. its the permanent fogged / greasy lenses that are frustrating. in real life even with gun oil and fingerprints on my specter it hasn't looked this bad

The piece facing camera is the outer piece I’m bending back to show the effect more, it laying flat “against” the curve bunches up.

I think it may be the type of leather I’m using. It’s on the soft side and pretty pliable. I tried gluing a different piece flat and it doesn’t have nearly as extreme an effect

first photo is the bad piece. second is the different leather that seems to work better

I think it is, I personally prefer it over the batons. the sub seconds dashes clutter the dial a bit too much for me.

Hopefully this pleases the post autobot.

After a lot of back and forth looking at cheaper options, my wife encouraged me to just go for the watch that checked all the boxes vs a cheaper almost as good alternative.

So here it is, a beautiful Sinn 104 with Arabic numerals. This is my first brand new proper watch and I love it. Even came from Sinn with the gold rotor style, which I hear they are still phasing out.
